"Piping" is technically a contrasting (different) material, not a color/shade enhancement on the ends of the same material. Piping is usually a contrasted cylinder shape...happens in high-end car seats especially.

It's not pipping & it's not reflective.
Pipping is when addition material is folded & stitched along a seam, the folded material would be the "pipping". This is just white paint along the edges of the panels. They did this to exaggerate how the edges of the OG 90's 5's nubuck were lighter & highlighted the shape of each panel. It's one of the details I loved about the OG's when they came out.
Precisely. I said as much in my post. Piping is additional contrasted material. This is not that. If we are going to describe and educate, let's be nuanced about it.

Also the 6 and 7 share design language even though the 7 utilizes the Huarache bootie system. Man I wish I had time to create a shoe channel. I'm a former athlete OG that actually was around since the OG Jordan 1 era, and all the Flight and Force models. Heck I used to hoop in all my new kicks, even the Diamond Turfs (because Ray Jackson from Michigan Fab 5 rocked them in a game).

How do they fit? I have a wide foot, so I have to take half a size bigger? Should I buy my usual size and it will fit me even though I have wide feet?

is the size difference of US9.5 and a US10 big? I'm thinking of going half a size up, since US9.5 seems my exact size as all my shoes are US9.5, but gets a bit tight when i wear socks.

For the whole toebox issue, all they have to do is take the mudguard from the 2016 pair and put it on this pair.
They’ve fixed the overall shape of the 5s, by making them more aerodynamic, sleek, and slim. But the mudguard at the toe is the only thing that needs fixed. It should come up the toebox more and be a bit more “flat” in order to give the shoe a more aerodynamic look.

The plastic Nike Air has me questioning if I even want them. I reserved a pair at JD Sports but still wish the Nike Air was embroidered
Well I picked up my pair and I was wrong. The shoe looks really great. The shape still leaves me wishing they’d figure out how to make them look like the OG 5s but damn they look great on feet
The 23 on the side would have been too dope.
