  • Finally! As some of you know, I've been trying to upload this video since Friday morning! I'm still not sure why it kept getting stuck, but it's up and that's all that matters!
Welcome to part 1 of this adorable page from Enchanted Forest by Johanna Basford. I felt like it had been a long time since I had colored out of the book I started with, so I hope you guys like it! I have wanted to color this page from the beginning so I was really excited to finally do it. I tried my best to leave it at real time speed and only cut out redundancy for time sake. Enjoy!

You color so lovely, I wish other colorists, would do their videos like you, great closeups, along with name and number. Your videos have always been quality, and I’m always very happy to see one from you. Thank you very much, ❤️.

Aw what a sweet comment! Thank you so much, I try my best to do a little of what everyone likes, but it's hard to make everyone happy every video, so it's a great feeling when I read comments like this.

Tanya Lake I know, it has to be hard to please everyone, I read the comments you get, most are reasonable, but then, there are those few that are absolutely ridiculous comments, you might as well color standing on your head, because you cannot and will not be able to please those few. I very much appreciate every effort you make, thank you for that. 💖

Haha yeah, most comments are things that are do-able for sure, so I try my best to remmeber whilst I color. It's so weird to color on camera, at least for me, because I spent so long just coloring and now I have to keep in mind angles and lighting and my darn hand hah! Sometimes I get really into it and realize my hand is covering up what I'm doing! Nevertheless I enjoy it still and I'm glad so many of you have stuck around :D

I ditto the comments about how well you zoom in on what you are doing (and the color numbers). I like this one and really did like the Tree House Village as well. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful coloring Tanya, great video!!!!! I must try to color with my polychromos, I have some problems with the pencils because of the artrosis in my hand. Coloring is easier for my with the prismas. But I have the pencils and will give it a try :)) TFS

I'm sorry to hear that Rita. I do agree though, I also find coloring with prisma to be easier, they seem to blender into each other much smoother. If I had a full set of pirsmas I would use them more, that will have to be something I work towards getting ^_^

Rita Troch, I used to have the same problem with the Polychromos, then someone said, with those pencil you have to do lots of light layers, unlike the Prisma’s, try holding the Polys further back on the pencil, your first couple of layers will look a little funky, lol but keep going and you will see something amazing happens. Just FYI.
