Never have I been more proud to be apart of this community. As a survivor of childhood cancer I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’re doing for St. Jude.
I know my comment will be lost in the sea of comments, but i just wanted to say thank you Mat and Steph for all of your support for St. Jude. When I was diagnosed at 14, I thought that this was the end, but all the support, care, and love i felt from everyone at the hospital truly made such a huge difference to me. Because of how much St. Jude has helped me, I’ve made it one of my life goals to give back to the hospital that saved my life 3 years ago, and to see all the support you give to this hospital that i love and cherish so much makes me so happy :) so just thank you again for donating and supporting the hospital that not only saved my life, but also so many kids’ lives
You know, that trophy is more meaningful than any golden statue or diamond-studded plaque. It's not a congratulations, it's a thank you message, from someone who was saved from a terrible illness by good hearts. Thank you, Mat and Steph, thank you St. Jude and thank you to everyone who supported this cause, in one way or another. You deserve it
I cried reading this. When Stephanie almost cried saying "no child should have to go through having cancer", I started bawling. I was unaware the Theorist crew had this livestream. I can't wait to see it this year. Please keep supporting St. Jude's, and make the world a better place
I still remember watching Steph break down and cry when she really let how much money was raised sink in. I know she doesn't cry that often, she has mentioned how she doesn't like to cry on stream, and it just shows how much compassion she has for those kids. That will forever be one of my favorite moments on this channel because while it was heartbreaking to see Steph cry, it was also heartwarming; such an outpouring of love. And I know that Mat has just as much love in his heart, I certainly don't mean to discount his feelings. Thank you guys so much for putting your influence to a positive use. I really love the fact that the "award" was the realization of a child's artwork, a representation of a life that's been saved through efforts like these. Makes this much more personal :')
I mean I have 22 subs and have had a few dislikes before but some people just want to be like that and as long as you don't turn into them then you can't do much about it..
I think its because some people think Matt and Steph are flexing how good of a people they are, but what they dont understand is that its a big thing for all of us, this cause brings us together as a community and them sharing what they did with the internet brings awareness to the issues that GameTheory are trying to help prevent.

As someone who was actually helped by St. Jude when I was a baby, this actually hits really hard for me to really understand what happens and how St. Jude works.. when I was a baby I was diagnosed with a heart valve disease where my valve wouldn’t open. It was replaced with a prosthetic valve in surgery when I was only 2 months old. I wasn’t supposed to live past the age of 2. Had St. Jude not helped us, I wouldn’t be able to say that I’m in my Sophmore year of high school. Thank you so much for doing these types of things. St. Jude helped me even as a baby. Without them I wouldn’t have had a future. Because of Game Theory doing something like this, so many other children can have an incredible future. *Thank you so much.*

Its so cute how Mats nose goes red when he's emotional. It looks like he has a bad cold and I just love it! I was close to crying and I cried last year when I saw how much was raised. Thank you guys for raising so much money for St. Judes. They are an AMAZING hospital. My brother has been receiving cancer and NF treatments for the past 7 years. I don't appreciate how he asked that question of Mat and Steph- yeah, what they're doing is incredible and of course they've proven they can use their platform to raise money, but when you ask someone that question they can't say no. I don't appreciate how he asked that question of Mat and Steph- yeah, what they're doing is incredible and of course they've proven they can use their platform to raise money, but when you ask someone that question they can't say no. "So, are you going to help save small children with cancer or not?" Mat and Steph could not have possibly said no there- that's a lot of stress to put on one person.
stress on 2 people, but yeah. I feel like that should have been done in private and not live for the entire internet to see. I mean yes, helping these children is important but maybe they dont have the bandwidth to help next time. AND he was like "pshh yeah i expect over 1.3 million like you did last time" that is a lot of pressure
