- The King and Queen were greeted by crowds of well-wishers as they made their way out of St George's Chapel following the Easter Sunday service.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were not at the service, coming just over a week after Kate released an emotional video message revealing she had started preventative chemotherapy for cancer.

@@theeperson3764 Actually, with more than 60% of UK citizens in favor of keeping the monarchy, he is your king. UK had their chance to be free of kings/queens for good but brought the institution back and the "not my king" movement isn't large enough now for a referendum abolishing the monarchy.

The Queen has been doing an admirable job, both as a great support to Charles during treatment while also continuing her public duties.

Fantastic to see him out and about - I do hope he is not pushing around his physicians though and respects sensible limitations! I worry he may not be resting enough.
He Is a reasonable, intelligent man, not inclined to take useless risks. If he Is there, It means that his defence level (which are checked) are good enough.

He needs to be careful…..when I was on chemo I had to keep my distance from big crowds
He doesn't get too close and uses just One hand, which he will sanify within few moments. Not such a big risk, if the levels of immunitary defences (which are constantly checked) are good...

Hes taking a massive risk at this point of his treatment by mixing with public & shaking hands.
I isolsted completely at home for 6 months during mine as i was neutrapenic and a simple common cold can be deadly to a chemo patient.
I wish him well.

As long as his blood counts are good he is able to go out and about his doctors would not allow him to do it my son had cancer and was the same if his counts were low he stayed away from people he had hodgins lymphoma which is cancer of tje immune system he was on antibiotics all through his treatments I should imagine prince chsrles is as well

No they don't get priority private medical treatment and the same crowd here, couldn't care less if it was anybody else, which shows the mentality of some people, and how they view some as significantly more important than others.
Many would travel 100s of miles to to see an extremely wealthy and privileged man go to church.
But I'd bet most of them wouldn't go the same distance to visit an elderly relative

Put it this way, if it was your grandmother then yes she probably won't get cured.
But old Charlie has live in doctors, blood test taken, same day results after rushing samples off to the lab, anything wrong then it's immediate treatment in a private clinic, the best than money can buy.
If it's your grandmother, then it's 2 weeks so see a doctor, then a week later to get results, by which time 3 weeks have lapsed, and treatment may not start for another week, by which time it's too late.
Charles can get treatment within hours because he has Drs on call and even living within his resident's.
If he's got toothache, he's got a dental practice in his own palace.
Rest assured he'll be fine, same can't be said for most people
