This is just a marketing ad paid by bethesda to try and get people to rebuy skyrim. They're trying to pull a gta v by reselling an old game rewrapped in shinier graphics
Frankenscuzz I honestly doubt Bethesda gives a shit about GamingBolt. For console players, sure. It's advertising. But the thing is, it's still a great game, and for console players, it actually is a huge improvement. Now for all us PC players who got the game for free, this video is merely supplying incentive to replay the game. It looks pretty, the base game is still attractive so long as you remember to try new things, and again, it's fukkin free! Quit bitching. If Bethesda really wanted to make some money off everyone, they would have charged Steam owners for it as well. And honestly it could very well be a paid thing for console simply because there's no sure-fire way of confirming that's *your* game you brought into Game Stop for a free copy of SKSE. They surely weren't going to lose money in the deal.
Miton2011 I mean this woulda been a great video if it hadn't been done a hundred times before. This video was clearly made to make money off of for views. Skyrim did not need a remaster.
Si Wakeman well I doubt many people did know about them, tho it certainly didn't make me go load the game and start hunting for a log to see them either lol
I think the only secret that most people don't know about is how op Clear Sky really is. I'm serious. Most people think it only changes the weather, but if you've ever used it in combat, you would know that it actually staggers all the enemies around you. On top of that, the cool down is incredibly fast. You can pretty much chain cc everything around you. That, my friends, is how you ruin the game for yourself.
It can also be used in surprising places. It works in Blackreach, the Soul Cairn, and some other caves that count as being "outside" and have fog or some other weather overlaid to create a desired effect. Makes traveling through those areas so much easier once it's clear
Rookie gamer (I use that term with great flexibility!) here and I have a question if you don't mind........I see "OP" mentioned a lot on these types of youtube videos. What does that mean?
Every Skyrim session: "Okay, I unloaded my items. Got my chosen weapons and needed potions. Let's rock!" *2 minutes later* "Hey, what's that thingy waaayyyy over there?" *3 days later* "Shit.... what was it I had set out to do in the first place? And where the hell am I..."
Could be ants appearance a feature that depends on which graphics setting people use? Like "particles" on some known games, like moving from "normal" to "high"?
diamonds and rubies. also a reference. but as soon as you got the 24stones of barenziah, and with that the paragon of the thieves guild, you will be drowning in gems, so its only nice for the first 50 lvls. (also if your smithing is high enough and you went to sanguines shrine (3 respawning daedra and their hearts), you will have tons of daedric armor/weapons to sell for up to 18k an item, so thats nonsense as well.
Many people get this reference wrong. The notched pickaxe is not a minecraft reference. There was a person that climbed to the top of Mount everest and dissapeared and all that was left was a notched pickaxe. Hence why it is at the very top of the throat of the world.
You could have gotten special edition if you wanted the vanilla experience. It's even free on steam if you have the original. (Might need the dlcs too, not sure)
Wait a minute you mean to tell me if you look at the map close enough and there is a dragon breathing fire you can see the map glow if you zoom in! Marked tusks, ants, and a book with no writing as well! You sold me!
Andrew Galgano Thought that we were done with this. The dragons in Skyrim are, in fact, dragons. Yes, here on Earth, we refer to giant lizards with 2 wings and 2 hind legs as wyverns, but since Skyrim takes place on Nirn, our logic and language doesn't matter. On Nirn, those creatures are called dragons, so they are dragons.
I feel ya I killed a chicken in my first play through with an ice spike everyone got mad so I tried resurrecting it. Of course they were still mad but even worse the ice spike dealt damage to whatever the chicken touched with it. And it was my follower so it kept killing me. An worst of all no matter what I did it wouldn't die.
If you speak to Gabriella before the quest to kill Victoria at her wedding, she'll tell you that she left you some potions and an enchanted bow at the location.
Not the same thing as the potions mentioned though. She left decent potions for the murder, so why would she place the health potions in a bunch of spots you sometimes can't even walk to and then not tell you?
While Draugr may be stopped by puzzle doors, go to the ruin of Ragnvald in The Reach, there are two Draugr outside of it patrolling the exterior of the ruin. Personally I think there is something about the draugr that keeps them at the ruins, I think they are guarding those ruins against intruders, or they are bound to those places by some sort of magick.
The lore used in the video, If memory serves right, mostly applies to a few of the claws. They were used to help lock away the Galdur family of the powerful father and his three sons. This is explored in the quest Forbidden Legend where you gather the three pieces at the sons' tombs and then reforge the amulet at the final tomb. The claws were scattered amongst the three lesser tombs and need to be combine to open the final one.
+Billy Rigby in the Forgotten Vale from the Dawnguard DLC. You need to find the Ruby Paragon (IDR where it is) and use it on the portal thing to get to the area (It's a snowy forest area. Head through the forest and Kill the enemies then loot the shield from one of the corpses. It is called Auriels Shield and is white.
*Sneak past Ulfr the Blind to raise sneak* Follow Ralof into Helgen Keep and get the key before he does, he'll wait for you to open the gate so you get two Imperial Swords (or one and an Iron Axe) and you sneak up and hit him with both, four-five minutes later you have Level 50 Sneak Skill
do so and do what I call the great skip, either go explore your own and get weapons strong enough to kill final dragon, or skip to whiterun as they don't give two sh*ts
Joltario and that must be the reason why Bethesda doesn't concentrate on making new games/content and milk Skyrim to death, because you people buy every edition of it. continue buying multiple editions of the same game, throw more and more money at companies for the same product, over and over again. that should send the right massage to publishers and change the gaming industry to the positive...
how much time is spent on what exactly ? Skyrim ? or one of the editions/versions of Skyrim ? or do you mean the upcoming Elder Scrolls game ? I don't really understand your question and the point you make. please elaborate. what's wrong with milking ? well, you barely create any new content and demand money that isn't worth it. no, thanks god that's not what all Developers do. back in the 80s/90s there was no big, established Gaming industry and the first people developed games because they were passionate about it, they put their heart and soul into it and you could really see that in those Games. the technology wasn't as advanced as nowadays but they were often rich in content, mechanics, innovations, attention to detail etc. now a lot of companies (mostly the big ones) just focus on making profit. it's not about let's make a game that captivates the player, immerses him in that world and more about how can we make players pre-order our game, how can we make the player want to spend money on DLCs, how can we make them pay for premium currency etc. I mean, I don't know how old you are and when exactly you started playing games, but I remember the times when Expansion Packs existed. Companies would develop a game, people would buy it, play it and give positive feedback. if the game was successful, they would sometimes release an Expansion Pack, that was worth the money for the content it provided. The Expansion Pack would be completely new material or partly consisted of content that didn't make into the game. nowadays (looking at you EA) companies come up with a game concept, develop it (to a certain extent) and sell you about 60% of it at full price. the rest they sell you as a season pass for an extra 30$. and often it feels like you really need that DLC to get a complete experience, it a rip off that's what it is. Bethesda and CD Project Red were the to Developers I loved and respected the most. while CDPR got better and better, Bethesda kinda lost it's way. just compare the old Elder Scrolls and Fallout games to the new ones. graphically and technically yes, they get better but content wise ? I don't think so.
I mean there is a reason why many Fallout fans dislike Fallout 4 and praise New Vegas (that was developed by another developer, Obsidian). even Fallout 3 (developed by Bethesda) was deeper than Fallout 4. I played Fallout 3 for so many hours, played every DLC and I loved the experience. bought Fallout 4, played it, finished the Story and... I never created a new Character, never had the urge to replay it. I got the DLCs I tried to get into the game again, play it more, but something doesn't feel right, I don't get as immersed into the games as I used to in Fallout 3. even the Elder Scrolls, I played Skyrim when it was released, played 137 hours, when the two DLCs were released it, I played it again, created a new Character, played the main game, then finished Dawnguard and started Dragonborne, played it, probably more than half, but never finished it. since then, I haven't played it. didn't pick up on that game anymore. but you know what game I play to this date ? it's elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I still play it, somehow it still manages to immerse myself into that world. now you look at CDPR and the Witcher games, they got better in every single way. they got so much better, that in my opinion, The Witcher 3 reached the new pinnacle of Gaming. to me it's the best Game I ever played, it's so rich in content, so rich that I was overwhelmed. the World, Characters, Story, Quests, everything, it's incredible. and the attention to detail is remarkable. the base game is a complete experience, absolutely worth it's money. and if you look the DLCs (which I would call Expansion Packs) they offer new content with a new Story, Characters, Quests etc. even Blood and Wine could be a whole separate new game, that's how rich in content it is. so no, not every company is mainly profit oriented and milking a franchise.
lol ur right it is pretty wrong of me to say that. I was writing on a phone and i have big fingers so thats why i hope u guys have a great day see u in sovengarde cos i shall now comit honorable supoku by thrusting a banana through my heart.
You guys can't be serious. These secrets are well known by know. What everybody wants to know is the meaning behind the insects in jar and the runes in those jars.
ChazWTFLOL We already know why. It describes a conspiracy on how the Thalmor are going to destroy the Empire and everyone in it, massacre all other races save for the High Elves.
The Notched Pickaxe is NOT a Minecraft reference. It's been in TES well before mincraft was even in alpha. Honestly spend five minutes to look something up.
It's reference to Andrew Irvine, a guy who might be the first man to have been on Everest. But he died on the expedition and noone ever new if he really reached the peak. They never found his body, but they found an Ice Axe that had a few notches, below the summit. It's a really interesting story, check it out on Wikipedia.
This is such an amazing game, and I actually own every iteration and reiteration of them. I only hope that for the next one, Bethesda can recatch the magic they found for this game and not accidentally 76 it by trying to remake it from the ground up...
The only one that took me by surpise was the hidden bosses. I'd discovered the dragon and my friend told me about Karstaag. But I've never heard of or seen the reaper
You have to find three reaper gem fragnents in the Soul Cairn and go to the reaper's lair. Tbh it's pretty hard to find unless you really look at everything, all the time.
@@imjstmikey9146 yes if you would make a expansion what would you add like animies like world new armors I think I would add oblivion in skyrim like the doc mod but then expansion you know

There are so many mistakes in this video, it hurts. The real "secret" is why you can't spell Sovngarde, why you seem to think mammoth ivory is called "ebony," and why you think the fact that Sovngarde's sky looking like the background in the skill tree is a "coincidence."
I remember the first time I came across the Headless Horseman. I was riding my horse to Whiterun, when I stopped and he rode up right next to me going the opposite direction and stopped. I looked at him then he kept on riding past and I thought, “huh, not the strangest thing I’ve seen.”
the worlds helper Nope i never looked anything up i was playing for three years now i stopped playing but im pretty sure that ive found "EVERYTHING" in the vanilla game. No dlc

THE! PICKAXE! IS! NOT! A! MINECRAFT! EASTER! EGG! It is a memorial for the first people who climbed Mount Everest. They went missing and all they found was A NOTCHED PICKAXE! It has nothing to do with Minecraft.
I would like to refer everyone to TheEpicNate314's series of '10 tiny details you may not have found in the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim', consisting of over 40 episodes now.
demonface INC Lmao, 3.5 hours? No, not even close, they implemented a feature called "Radiant Story" in Skyrim, which adds so many hours of gameplay. You don't know what you're talking about.
Zarazzamatazz a protrusion would ve something that sticks out. Markings don't physically stick out, so he was referring to the tusks and said ebony instead of ivory.
The headless horseman is a badass looking knight. Ragnar was a dude bragging who got his ass handed to him by the first person to take offence. They are definitely not the same person. Do you know how many people lose heads in Skyrim?

Being able to shout at a fish is the only reason I bought Skyrim SE
I dont see a connection... you could shout at insect/fish in regular skyrim
CJ Chaump to be able to turn into a werewolf thats the reason why I bought the game
Not sure troll or not
Josiel Rodriguez real shit
10 Clickbait titles that will make you watch this video IMMEDIATELY!
It ain't clickbait if the title is true, and it's actually a decent video
This is just a marketing ad paid by bethesda to try and get people to rebuy skyrim. They're trying to pull a gta v by reselling an old game rewrapped in shinier graphics
Frankenscuzz
I honestly doubt Bethesda gives a shit about GamingBolt.
Miton2011 and to retort. None of these are secrets anymore. Old as shit game. Sorry dude. The title is clickbait.
was expecting secret number 7 to be you can absorb Dragon souls after the mind blowing number 8 ant revelation
Si Wakeman well I doubt many people did know about them, tho it certainly didn't make me go load the game and start hunting for a log to see them either lol
700+ hours in and I've never seen an ant.
"Special Edition" not standard edition.
Clear sky + windshear = stagger god
I found out about that and I forgot that I had clear skies equipped and not unrelenting Force
@@Adam.Rushing OP = over-powered in this context
WOAH the savngaurd sky is the same as the level screen sky?!?!?!?! Holy shit grandpa elder, I have to replay the game just for that!

"Okay, I unloaded my items. Got my chosen weapons and needed potions. Let's rock!"
*2 minutes later*
"Hey, what's that thingy waaayyyy over there?"
*3 days later*
"Shit.... what was it I had set out to do in the first place? And where the hell am I..."
HeliRy - every time.
3 days later you die and forget to quicksave
lol its that same feeling I get when I realize the arc in the anime I'm watching has caught up to the manga.
Literally. Every. Fucking. Time. It took me forever to finish quests because I'd get sidetracked just exploring
Shit !! Ants?!? Serious? Ok. I play another 200hrs !😂

Jacques Cordes Srsly. I watched ants crawl on a log for 7 minutes straight.

So the fact that there are ants if I look closely is gonna make me want to replay Skyrim IMMEDIATELY?
Could be ants appearance a feature that depends on which graphics setting people use? Like "particles" on some known games, like moving from "normal" to "high"?
yes they are, cuz I play on low with a modified ini and I have never seen the ants
bradhuygens yeah, just to squish them
I M M E R S I O N
I'm gonna fus ro dah on ants
HIDDEN POTIONS AND BOOKS WITH NO WORDS!? WOW!!!!
I KNOW RIGHT! GOOD THING I STILL PLAY SKYRIM OR I MIGHT HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE SECRETS MYSELF! oh wait..... I did in the first 3 hours of playing it.
DON'T FORGET THE ANTS AND A USELESS MINECRAFT REFERENCE!!!!!! SO COOL!
the pickaxe lets you mine more gems, than a regular one, but less than the pickaxes for stalhrim.
no really? I had no idea..... -_-
diamonds and rubies. also a reference. but as soon as you got the 24stones of barenziah, and with that the paragon of the thieves guild, you will be drowning in gems, so its only nice for the first 50 lvls.
I go through phases of playing for weeks on end then stopping for a few months, then repeat the cycle
same here
Pretty sure the people who started in 2011 now bear this curse. Lmao
And I end up creating new characters every time because I don’t remember what I was doing and what was going on 💀

superclaw900 so how's it going so far?
SOME DUDE just bought it on ps3 for the vanilla console experience. PC ver has too many mods and i have to reinstall it to get it working
You could have gotten special edition if you wanted the vanilla experience. It's even free on steam if you have the original. (Might need the dlcs too, not sure)
***** I do have it, it was free for people who have the legendary edition, but i wanted to play on a controller, never done that with skyrim.
superclaw900 I have to play with a controller
Oh shit guys I just found out there's a empty book in Skyrim. Omw to replay it right now
Wait a minute you mean to tell me if you look at the map close enough and there is a dragon breathing fire you can see the map glow if you zoom in! Marked tusks, ants, and a book with no writing as well! You sold me!
Yes, and if you open the map while absorbing a dragon's soul, you can see that pretty clearly on the map too.
fukqyou asszhole oh FUCK YEAH
fukqyou asszhole sarcasm?
Andrew Galgano it’s not a wyvern, it’s a problem
Andrew Galgano Thought that we were done with this.
The dragons in Skyrim are, in fact, dragons. Yes, here on Earth, we refer to giant lizards with 2 wings and 2 hind legs as wyverns, but since Skyrim takes place on Nirn, our logic and language doesn't matter. On Nirn, those creatures are called dragons, so they are dragons.
this is for those who havent played the game.

I couldn't play it again after killed a chicken with my bow then whole game was after me.
Majestic spook exactly I killed a chicken in river wood then Delphine was after me after I met her for a quest near a different city
I feel ya I killed a chicken in my first play through with an ice spike everyone got mad so I tried resurrecting it. Julie Hafford I found them anyway when looking for an assassination spot
Not the same thing as the potions mentioned though. She left decent potions for the murder, so why would she place the health potions in a bunch of spots you sometimes can't even walk to and then not tell you?
this better not be fucking clickbait

While Draugr may be stopped by puzzle doors, go to the ruin of Ragnvald in The Reach, there are two Draugr outside of it patrolling the exterior of the ruin. Personally I think there is something about the draugr that keeps them at the ruins, I think they are guarding those ruins against intruders, or they are bound to those places by some sort of magick.
WolfkinNorthclaw in the loading screen it said they are cursed to roam the dungeons forever by the dragons for their treachery
Jake Doucet Aren't Dragon Priest followers also buried there?
Pablo Mendoza the dragon priests served the dragons but were in a sleep so now they're waking up
***** Thanks! I never fully understand that about the Draug, thanks for explaining it
The lore used in the video, If memory serves right, mostly applies to a few of the claws.

I know a better secret about this game! THERE IS A SHIELD THAT FUS RO DAHS!!!
Zac Ross is there really? Where? Lol
Zac Ross Yeah, Auriel's Shield. I never used it tho

Head through the forest and Kill the enemies then loot the shield from one of the corpses. It is called Auriels Shield and is white.
Billy Rigby It's in a hidden room in the Inner Sanctum (Quest: Touching the Sky). You open the room with the intiate's ewer.

After 6 years I'm still playing this game and I've bought it 4 different times. I fucking love it. ❤️❤️❤️
Tyler Durden დამასკდი ყლეზე
Luka Do you know how much time is spent on this game? And what's wrong with "milking" money? Isn't that what all game developers do?
how much time is spent on what exactly ? Skyrim ? or one of the editions/versions of Skyrim ? or do you mean the upcoming Elder Scrolls game ?
I found all of these in my first playthrough five fucking years ago
thepurpledarkrai no you didn't
thepurpledarkrai congratulations. nobody gives a fuck.
´Nope you didnt because most of these were connected to DLC.

the runes are like 'illustrations' of the insects.. that's all about it it seems :/

I was following that thread in reddit, but nothing was conclusive. Did anyone send a message to the developers to get a real answer?

Well. I think they won't tell us, because it's our mystery to solve if that makes sense. We can only guess and make theories.
Ants totally makes me want to replay skyrim but I'm getting remastered anyways

Gavin The Crusade Plague Doctor neither have I but apparently he's quite shit compared to the other two
You have to find three reaper gem fragnents in the Soul Cairn and go to the reaper's lair. Tbh it's pretty hard to find unless you really look at everything, all the time.
Do you need Skyrim special edition to fight the hidden bosses?
DLC DawnGuard you got into the soul Cairn and find them but I duplicate them so I can fight him a couple times and its a lot easier than finding them
I heard of him but he is a pain to find cuz hes in the soul cairn

There are so many mistakes in this video, it hurts. The real "secret" is why you can't spell Sovngarde, why you seem to think mammoth ivory is called "ebony," and why you think the fact that Sovngarde's sky looking like the background in the skill tree is a "coincidence."
