  • Disassembling a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2" Tablet to replace the battery.
    Tools Required - Pry tools and #0 Phillips
    Antistatic wristband and work area is recommended

    Just replaced mine, suggest starting point for removing back cover is stylus socket making it easier to get into. Also it was easier to remove battery connector using old battery after screws removed. Hope people find this helpful.

      I used the tools from a repair set for an iPhone :D

    Good job. But next time, point the screws first. That way we know where they are. Your hands were in the way of the camera.

    Important!! battery connector lifts upward, do this gently, it is tight and would suggest holding the black part with a small screwdriver for added support, whilst removing battery connection. This comes from experience, be warned

    Did all the steps but mines still wont power on. Battery icon loads then shows 100% flashing crazy. Recovery mode works just fine. Please help!

      Seems like the board itself is damaged. Most likely you already did that, but I just ask: have you tried to reset it to default settings?

    I replaced my battery and now the screen will not turn on. I have tried the old one and new with no success. Has anyone had this issue? The battery has been tested and getting power. Im almost certain its the video display cables that will not work. Do you have a video on connecting the display cable correctly? Any hope is saving this tablet??
