@@chingchingchingching2064 cause in the black and tan episode of psych it was gus's birthday and they went to this fashion launch part at this club and posed as these male models Black and Tan the bouncer assumed that gus was black and shawn was tan which Shawn said he was black and gus was tan and said the fact that he made that assumption. So that is what they were refrencing.
Seeing Jaleel here and its a tragedy for him to live without Michelle. She was a special friend in his life, its hard to believe how she was battling cancer while filming family matters and not once did she ever show it. Jaleel once said, the day Michelle died is the day his innocence was lost. RIP Michelle, you will live in our hearts
This is the best version of Swing Low ever. I'd love to know the group that sang this and im crossing my fingers they have this full version somewhere online. If it was the actual actors who sang this i will pass out, fall off my chair, get back up and repeat.
Yeah it was them. Google "Kenan Thompson Talks Saturday Night Live and Psych" --- Kenan Thompson: Yeah, we have to sing. We have to harmonize, me and Jaleel White with Dule. The first day we got to Vancouver we had to go like straight in the studio and learn all these harmonies. It was fun and I don't know if I have a great singing voice but I did sing in church as a child; I can hold a note.
They kind of reference that in a later season when at the beginning of an episode Gus is getting ready to that son by mackmore or whatever he was called.
I remember both Kenan Thompson and Jaleel White from when I was a kid in the 90s. Ofcourse we Jaleel White as Steve Urkel. Kenan Thompson was in two shows on Nickelodeon, All That and Kenan and Kel.
Shawn Spencer in a black Baptist church? My God, I never thought that I would see it. I was expecting to see him roll down the aisles after getting the holy ghost or at least try to steal from the collection plate.
Question: So, in this episode it's Tony and Joon, but in "Let's doo-wop it again, it's Tony and Drake, right? It's probably just me, but does anyone wish we could have had Joon and Drake in the same episode? That way it would be Shawn, Gus, Tony, Joon, and Drake, but just change the name of the band.
Is there anyone else who doesn't have a black suit?
I don't have a black dress lol
I don’t have really that much black clothing
Lol Colonel Sanders, the Joker...
McConaughey doesn't count...he doesn't own a shirt...he doesn't need a shirt
I had to go buy black clothing when my grandfather died in 2019 because all I had was a pair of black jeans and my sweater with my job's logo on it.
"I wish I could have known you when you were Black" Gus has been Tan for a long time
"Black and Tan" reference. Nice!
I don't get this joke and I'm black, explain please.

YES 😭
DULE HILL IS EXTREMELY TALENTED
Shawn is just adorable when Gus and the guys are singing.
He loves his friend.
He was so amazed!
That's me when someone starts singing next to me but I shouldn't really join 😅
“I’m black, he’s tan. How dare you make that assumption. You should be ashamed of yourself and your family.”
Gus: “ SIT Down”
Shawn:“ I got caught up in the moment”
😂 love that
Shawn just took me out with outbursts.. "Hallelujah!!" 😂😂😂😂
James Roday in this scene was excellent. Especially his look of amazement at the start when they start to sing.
2:00
Jan 5th 2021 and I'm still watching and loving this show🍍
Samee
Amen brotha
Yesss 😌
Yep
with all that's going on.. this show is a good reprieve
I love how respectful Shawn is 😂
I could listen to Blackapella all day with those luxurious vocals!🥰
Agreed.
shawn being so proud of how he got to say amen he looks over at gus to get a “good job” smile lol
There’s something about this that I love. Roday is either that amazing of an actor or that’s his raw reaction
it makes me sad that this show doesnt go on for the rest of my life
Shawn's face when he's clapping to "Oh when the saints"🤣🤣🤣🔥

I was thinking it was the actors who sang, but I don't know

I thought we all agreed they're Quarterblack?
Gus: “ Shawn that makes no sense”
HE'S SO PROUD OF HIS BEST FRIEND
Favorite vocal group of all time!
I love that boys to men did the intro for this episode
“Man I wish I coulda known you when you were black”
Gus has incredible voice ❤️❤️
Rewatching the entire series with my wife who's never seen the show. So good.
Man I wish I coulda known you when you were black,
Shawn Chill!
Lol this is great
That was gold
They kind of reference that in a later season when at the beginning of an episode Gus is getting ready to that son by mackmore or whatever he was called.
Bro, my favorite episode of all time. Jaleel Whites look of disgust at g wiz all episode is hilarious. Plus, the intro of Woody as ME. Epic 🤣🤣🤣
I needed like 10 times more singing from the group, & from Shawn & Gus !
This is unironically my favorite version of swing low deer chariot
The way he was clapping 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
The guys sound great but it's Shawn's surprise followed by pure and utter delight that truly makes it😁🤣👍
2:56 shawn's off beat clapping LMAO
If they uploaded a full cover of swing low I would 100% pay for it
dule has a buttery soft voice
Best cover of Swing Low Sweet Chariot ever
This lowkey slaps and I wish they made a full acapella album. Their voices really mix well together
I love this group😂😂
That speaker could be an Obama impersonator

When the stimulus check hits
So true lol

Y’all should make a cover and release it to Apple Music
This is the episode I’m on right now how did you know??!
When my grandfather passed away in 95, he had one last gotcha moment with this song.
Great to see other fans of this great show
One of the best scenes from the entire show
Who else knows every episode by name and know tye majority of the lines of the entire series
This show hitt diff
Shawn Spencer in a black Baptist church? My God, I never thought that I would see it.
I was expecting to see him roll down the aisles after getting the holy ghost or at least try to steal from the collection plate.
We need a album
