I really appreciate what you've done to rescue these worn, tattered and discarded quilts. My favorite is actually the Jesus quilt and the way you added those darling little black babies on the striped fabric. I did a little research and found the embroidery transfers. I'm so happy as I thought they were antique and no longer available. So I want to thank you for the idea of how they can be added to a quilt top. My sister is doing the embroidery for me and I will give them a prominent place on my Blue Bird flour sack quilt I am making. I will continue to follow your work. You are an inspiration to so many!

This makes the saying 'One man's trash is another man's treasure' come to life! In a strange way you, Margaret, and the ladies who stitched these quilts so long ago, were joined across time, how quantum! I would love someone to do this with my quilts long after I have gone, to give them new life and commune with me 😊 Thank you for continuing to work and share, very inspiring 🌹

I love to see your preservation of these beautiful fabrics of life. Like when wonderful cars are restored.
They regain their sleek shiny gloss. If some quilts come from the 1880s the pieces they are made of
could be even futher back. Its a fascinating thought you've returned to us all.Thank You for perserving them.
