Margaret, if I may call you by your first name... I jus t discovered you.. WOW HOW INSPIRING YOU ARE.... don't give up....Your work is totally amazing, I love the way you were able to just let go and become FREE with you quilting. I'm so CONTROLLED with my quilting, I even have quilts where I've only used a fabric one time, now isn't that crazy. You have inspired me to break loose and let go. And I never had heard of a Kawandi before, never and I've been quilting for a long time (1983), you have brightened my day and given me a whole new perspective for quilting, what a wonderful design the Kawandi's. Please don't stop, go pull out some RED fabric and give it a go. I love all your quilts... again thanks for your Art......
Eye of the tiger baby!! Use that fabric first!! you got this... Once an artist, always an artist!!! They can take your car keys but make them pry that needle from your cold dead hands... Keep on quilting sewing, dreaming and creating.. and remember Everyday above ground is a good day...
This mood is the after effect of all the medications that were stuffed into you, and the anethesia, too. Please think happy thoughts and plan a new series?
Margaret I want you to know how special you are and how you've touched my soul at so many levels. I am watching this transformation with loved ones, loss of mobility. I can empathize but have not experienced it yet. I can only tell you how special you are to me and know you are in my prayers. If I were closer I'd look for ways to help you engage. Don't give up...your voice is a beacon in this troubled world. Know that you are loved and cherished.
I’m in the same boat. I finished at home PT now starting the other that I have to drive to. I have done nothing during my recovery time. Booho. Hoping you are doing better.
Ah Margaret I'm so sorry you're feeling low right now, but it will pass, and you'll be back inspiring us all with your wonderful work. Meanwhile give yourself time to rest and heal, you've been through a lot and it's knocked the stuffing out of you, but you'll be back and we'll all be waiting for you :) xo
Dear Margaret. I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit out of it. Physiotherapist knocks the stuffing out of shape, I was in a wheelchair for a year, then had a spine op- I felt so motivated and excited once I could walk again & did my physio and also all of my home exercises religiously for 6wks then, bang, a huge slump. It took 3 weeks to pass, I was just exhausted. Then, slowly, back onto the physio a bit at a time and then, back onto my sewing. I hope, for you, that this too shall pass soon. Much love. Be well, Sally 🌹
This is just a temporary slump. You’ll be back tomorrow. Perhaps a day of rest is needed? Everyday we wake up is a GIFT! What you choose to do with your gift is part of the fun of life. Yes?! Hugs ❤
Dear Margaret, You do whatever you need to do to fill your soul. Ahhh, "ebbb and flow" as the person wrote below. Give yourself a hug lovely lady and know we are thinking of you. Hugs from Fern in Minnesota.

Have a beautiful day Margaret, your work in progress is beautiful. On those days of rest a good Netflix show and snacks always helps me :)
Don't over do it. Don't under do it. Just do something and the day will brighten. ❤
Thankyou for being so honest and showing us this phase of the recovery process. Thankyou for not filtering out the hard parts.
One day at a time, and some days will be better than others. And brava to you for your beautiful work!!
