Awesome light !
Over 400k candela?? What in the world can it be used for throwing that distance with no spill and only 1650 lumens? Seems nice but still, just wondering. I have a Fenix HT18, 1500 lumens, 214k candela. Perfect combo. If i could find a light with 2K lumens and 300k candela, talk about perfect
For flashlight fans, throwers are mainly for fun. In terms practical uses, they can be used for searching/hunting, especially with the right LED (e.g., green and red for hunting). The farther a flashlight can throw, the more likely you would need magnification devices (e.g., binoculars and sight scopes).
For me, it's pure fun. If you need something that has more spill and still throw very well, then keep an eye on my upcoming reviews: Astrolux WP1 LEP flashlight and Thrunite TN42 V2 :-)
At 7:04 what is the second light?
