This is adorable! I probably would make the neck smaller cause I’m always cold!! It would be really cute for a high school or college age girl. Nice job! You inspire me!!
Just found your channel, reading the comments, I also had the problems with slanted work, I found if you use a stitch marker on the ends as you work them your work won’t slant, also counting the stitches helps a lot! “ your work is great. I’m still looking for a nice bulky jumper and think I’ll try this one... not sure yet. Not a fan of off shoulders. God bless
That's exactly what we go for! I've tried knitting probably 10 years ago and couldn't quite get it down, but took to crochet quickly so wanted to recreate some knit patterns but with crochet. Thanks for noticing! 😁❤
You make the most gorgeous womens crochet outfits! EVER!!! Wanna try everything that you do! Thank you so much for showing us your amazing work! :) LOVE from Portugal
I found another grey oversized pullover that I fell in love with. I thought I’d make that before trying the cable version. I also fell in love with a pullover that you made using Pound of Love in Cornflower. I’ve been trying to order that shade since before co vid. I either can’t find it, or I have to wait to get it.
Love this pattern! If it wasn’t for the fact I have the written pattern I’d have gone completely wrong at the side seams and sleeves as it doesn’t state in the video to switch back to a 6.5mm! Have just had to frog about 30 rows because of this :(
Hi Chantelle, I think we already spoke through Etsy, but incase we didn't yes, the stitch combo does make it slant, but it evens out when it's seamed up.😊
Hey T CD! I just wanted some advice from you about the jumper; my sweater bottom/trim line is a lil bit uneven, and I didn’t know how to make it straight so it looks okay while wearing it. I was wondering if I could do ribbing at the end of the sweater but I don’t like the look of that on this particular project. I also don’t want to unravel it because I already cut the ends and added the collar and back panel already. What would you recommend? 😊🧐😅
T CD A few stitches are missing for the part I want to level out. However, there is a slant in my back piece but I’m sure it’ll even out. 😬🤗😆 (The uneven part with the stitches missing is in my front panel though. Just thought you might want to know.) 😊 Edit: My front and back panel are also not the same sizes when it comes to length. I think it’s because one of them is slanted, but now I don’t know if I should do the shoulder part now because one panel is too big. Idk maybe I’m being too much of a perfectionist 😅 (Sorry I have so many problems on my piece lol 😂)
Hi Paige! I don't see why not. There is minimal measuring and as long as you know back loop half double and back loop single crochet's you're in goo shape! We're always here to help if you have any questions as well! 😊
Dear I have 9, 10, 12, and 14 size hook... Not sure which one is 5mm and 6.5mm in this 😂 I really loved this work and I started working on with the available hooks 😊😀 Thank you ❤️
Hmm, I'd suggest to either grab a 5/6.5 or use your 9, but the 9 would make it a little gappier. Unsure if you like that look, but that's an option if you don't want to buy another hook. 😊
@@TCDDIY I started with 9 for practice 😃 Completed the body portion and sleeves are pending. It came good.. I ordered for 5 and 6.5 hook too.. once I get it I'll crochet with these hooks for my sister 😊 Thank you 🙏 for your reply and ❤️
Hi Alma! Our patterns and videos give chain and row counts for a size small and give helpful tips on where to measure for larger sizes to ensure you get the perfect fit! 😊 Hope this helps!
@@TCDDIY aww you missed me? hehe .. Dad was at hospital he got positive for covid19 and then we got tested I got negative and rest positive so had to manage the house haha
Hello. I’m trying to do this pattern for the holidays, it’s so pretty but I can’t seem to keep the ends at the same height? What do you think i’m doing wrong? Thanks!
Hi! It may be because the BLO HDC and BLO SC combination does slant. as long as you have the same amount of stitches you're looking good. It'll even out when they're seemed together.

We kindaaaa made a track suit a while ago, just got burring under the RUclips algorithm. 😂 Here is the jacket: ruclips.net/video/OQobzAS31eU/видео.html and here are the matching bottoms: ruclips.net/video/zygEbL1esxk/видео.html We're probably going to revisit a track suit idea again soon so keep an eye out. 😊
Hmmm, the best advice I can give is to keep track of the amount of stitches you have in each row. It's real easy to accidentally skip a stitch at the bottom or at the top (where you connect into the base). 😊💕 Hope that helps! If not send me a message on Instagram and we'll work through it together. 💕
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve restarted this pattern several times and I just finished the ENTIRE front panel to find out that I’ve increased my stitches like crazy. Definitely should’ve been counting them so that’s on me, but I don’t know where I’m going wrong. 😢
I'm not an expert, but look at where you're increasing and try to remember what you were thinking about or doing when you did. I found that I tend to increase in spots I'm not supposed to when someone is distracting me. They don't do it on purpose, but it still causes me to lose focus and increase
Another great pattern! How do you come up with so many wonderful designs so quickly? You are a machine!
hehe, thanks for the submission, Kristy! 😁❤

@@TCDDIY I started my first sweater innit and misjudged how much I’d need. I never did finish that sweater.
@@laurelgirard8475 Oh man, do you still have it to go back to later or you scrapped it completely?

Love this sweater, just the perfect oversize. Hey, any idea of how many yards used because i reeeeeally want to try it out
Yeah this one's roughly 1,100 yards. 😊

Iam trying to crochet this particular sweater but its confusing me because of the collar part..
Anyways lovely sweater
How can I help you? 😁

I wonder if adding a ribbing at the bottom like on the sleeves would look good on this sweater?
It was a thought while we were making it. We thin it'll look great. 😁
How many grams of yarn did you use
I love the sweater!! But my end is like a diagonal line! I’m about to buy the pattern to see what I did wrong.
When you start the next row are you going into the same chain as the turning chain? Or the next chain after that?
Hi Chantelle, I think we already spoke through Etsy, but incase we didn't yes, the stitch combo does make it slant, but it evens out when it's seamed up.😊
we work into the chain after the turning chain. 😊 Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if you need anything else. 💕

Can you tell in your turtorials how long it took for you to make it?
It's kinda hard to say cause we're recording and testing as we go, but I typically give rough estimates on Etsy and this ones 8-10 hours. 😊
Hello. I’m trying to do this pattern for the holidays, it’s so pretty but I can’t seem to keep the ends at the same height? What do you think i’m doing wrong? Thanks!

No it doesn't, 😁
Yes! Thank you. I love your tutorials 🥺
Could you use a lighter weight yarn? Like a dk yarn?
Of course! That sounds lovely, just keep up with the measurements and you should be just fine. 😊❤
If I have a 32" bust, would a small work for me?
It's over sized so you don't have anything to worry about. 😁 I'm a size XS-S and it fits great.
Can you make this in thicker yarns??? Or can u plz make a video on making a sweater in bulky yarns?
Yes this can be made with thicker yarn. 😊 We don't have any bulky yarn to play with, but hopefully when autumn/winter rolls around we'll be able to. 😁

I only have a 5 mm hook, so for the parts that use a 6.5mm, how would i compensate?
You could used a 5 MM HK for the whole body, just may be a little tight so i'd suggest to keep a loose grip. 😁
