Thank you for opening a channel in English, I'm already watching your primary channel with great interest, but this is really helpful, especially when I want to share videos with other people around me!

Hi! Thank you for the instruction and demonstration. Can you provide additional information on turn-kote? I am not sure how turn kote is different from the other kote waza

"Turn→Kote" is a technique in which you turn your shinai counterclockwise around your opponent's shinai before striking Kote. The key point of "Turn→Kote" is how to connect the turning action and the Kote-Uchi. If the movements are done separately you will be attacked at the moment of turning. So it is important to study how to connect Kote quickly while turning

@@Kajiatani-Kendo-Global The movement is so fast that I could not understand it! But is "turn-kote" the same of "maki-kote"?

The maki-kote physically rotates the opponent's shinai before striking; the Turn→kote does not physically touch the opponent's shinai. It is considered a type of feint technique.

    thank you for your video.
Could you please explain how you use your footwork in a video? I can see that your movement is really fast and you keep moving your both foot before and after striking. I also watched videos from other kendoka (especially not young kendoka :D), I can see that they look like they dont move. What is the differences between your footwork and their footwork? thank you

We will make a video of the footwork, so please wait.
