Maaaaan.... Respect totally for this podcast!!! Ice Cube, for all the reasons stated in this episode and more, has always been my favourite all time Emcee. His flow, cadence, content, charisma, fearless approach to subject matter and his ability to adapt to the ever changing musical landscape over his 3 1/2 album run can’t be matched by any in the game. Trust me. Before there was Pac or Kendrick, there was Cube. No one will ever possess that same fire, rage, intelligence, vivid storytelling, humour and the ability to impact the sociopolitical landscape in quite the way Ice Cube did... Trust me, Cube is my HERO! Big ups for this one ✊🏾
Oh wow, what a great breakdown! Thank you for bringing that fire and for the love bro - glad it resonated, Cube is run is one of my favourites period. Just unreal.
I'm so glad I stumbled across this channel! It's fascinating to hear you both discuss albums that were huge for me while growing up and also to hear varying perspectives that will make me revisit them with a different ear. Also found out about the Cipher podcast which I can't wait to check out. Thank you!!
Ah man, thank you for the love! Really glad you enjoyed it, and The Cipher is incredible - appreciate all the positive vibes, and always here for the feedback 🙌🔥

Do the Right Thing's pizza riot sequence was jacked from Spike of Bensonhurst, made in 1988.
