Also, most people won't be able to afford the sets June 1st. And have to wait a few months which makes it winter come November/December for the holidays. I believe a lot of kids will have a very happy Christmas with lego this year!

I wish they made a modular floating hull system again. The one from the seventies is too narrow, limited, and expensive, but the existing unibody hulls feel too short to me.
Really cool Arctic ship, I can build some of my own Legos and make some of my own come with them come with the article. And also I have a ton of Legos in my room I can build whatever I want!

My Theory : The bow of the ship in this set is part of the wreck of the ship in the explorer submarine set.The shipwrecks in these two sets actually belonged to a pirate crew who plundered the Vikings and confiscated their weapons and armor, and then their ships broke up and sank, probably due to a storm. I hope , you liked my story 😊
I'm sure the orca is a big hit on the price. A brand new custom mold for an animal always does it. That's why the Jurassic Park sets are priced what they are.
Yess lego is crap nowadays it was something else 10-20 yrs back now its as bad as crap . Lego is just giving us huge big hollow plastic hulls . It's not worth the money .
yes, it would have or would be nice to be able to get the Orca in a small Free Willy tribute with a boy on a rock and the whale looking like its jumping out supported by some clear bricks looking like a wave for about 40$. I remember me and my friends laughing at that movie thinking it was cheesy back then, but I watched it as an adult and cried 3 times tears of joy and sadness. Great movie.
1 Thing I hate about Lego collectors is that animal molds go for a lot of money, like the goat and the mammoth. Which I believe makes Lego put these molds in more expensive sets. Sadly no cheap set with an orca in it. At least not for the foreseeable future.
When he put the mini submarine into that gap, (after he finished building it) l thought it didn't look nice because they didn't add something to these things that hold the boat above the mini submarine...

Everyone knows that they don't make so large ship bases so they put 2 medium size bases which looks weird but they cover it!
the level of detail put into the ship is impressive, it’s usually just a bed or two and a couple of controls for the captain
