Damien, I have seen many films and I can assure you that with none of them I have felt the same as with yours (Whiplash, La La Land). Please, never change your way of directing movies, never leave that because it is your essence and it reflects your pure passion, perfectionism and innovation. Waiting for you to watch your next masterpieces. You will be a legend!
Anna I'm really young lol and it just taught me a really important lesson that sometimes you have to let go of the person/thing you love deeply bc it's holding you back from accomplishing your dream.
Jman Garcia . Ok, I see. I mostly thought that the ending was depressing. Mostly because I'm in a situation where I think I've just lost the man that I have a crush on, to another girl. It hurts like hell and seeing this end, the way it did, makes me question every decision I've made. I strongly believe in faith, but this fucked me up big time.
@Jman Garcia uhhhhhhh that was not at all the point of the movie. They weren't holding each other back at all. They both would not have achieved either of their dreams without each other. They both encouraged each other through their hard times and when they wanted to give up and it was unfortunate that they decided to end it when Mia went to Paris. And your dreams are not more important than your loved ones in life. In the end all that matters are the people around you and the people you love/who love you. I know you're young, try not to make rash judgments from movies or media. Not being so easily influenced by external things is what makes one strong.
Ryan Gosling seems like he just walked out from the Blade Runner 2049 set. Amazing movie. I loved every single moment of it and that ending, good Lord. Damien is much like an orchestra maestro, he always knows how to end his movies on a high note.
I hope this is an "extra" in the La La Land HD Digital version / BluRay DVDs. Not since (500) Days of Summer, has a movie come out that restored my faith in finding true love. Thank you Damien, Emma, Ryan, Justin and the rest of the La La Land crew for making a timeless film!
Emma is PRICELESS . I love her voice , and she is amazing in the movie . So much emotions she gives . You have to give that woman an Oscar next Sunday !
This movie is so amazing and beautiful. I honestly cannot find a word that can bring this movie justice. The amount of work put into this is mindblowing and I appreciate it so much because without that I would not have been able to be amazed to this extent.
I can't decide if Ryan looks uninterested or is just shy in some interviews his does. Would be surprising if he's shy, I guess these press things must get tiring.
I hope Ryan's "family matter", which made him miss the Baftas, is better now and is not the reason he looks so bummed out during this interview. He's usually more upbeat. Hope the LLL DVD comes out soon!
Nolan worked on Inception for 10 years, while releasing 5 other movies. It doesn't mean it was in production for all that time or that he focused all his free time on it though. The actual shooting and production probably took 2 years.

Do you mind if I ask in what way?

I'm pretty old and it taught me things too. There's a lot of subtlety in the movie and it'll be worth revisiting time and again.

La La Land is so good that I feel it like a gift from Chazelle, not many movies can give me real happiness.
I hope this is an "extra" in the La La Land HD Digital version / BluRay DVDs.

JP Pad but they don't end up together!
@@anthonymartensen3164 It's tragic, but it's timeless
The intro perfectly sets up the film's tone, and the lyrics foreshadow the relationship of Mia and Sebastian. Also, can't have LA without traffic.
Emma is PRICELESS . I love her voice , and she is amazing in the movie . So much emotions she gives . You have to give that woman an Oscar next Sunday !
Ryan's response, beginning at 25:40 is totally right on in his explanation about Los Angeles.
This movie is so amazing and beautiful. I honestly cannot find a word that can bring this movie justice. The amount of work put into this is mindblowing and I appreciate it so much because without that I would not have been able to be amazed to this extent.
This movie is brilliant! I am completely captivated by it. Thank you for the inspiration, I agree this movie is a life changer!
the last two minutes of the interview is worth replying like 5 times. it is inspiring.
You once passed that sing in the beginning you can't skip a second of that movie... Just a perfect piece of Art! 👏
These people created a modern day cinematic masterpiece
La la land 😍 Emma and Ryan , so amazing. 🏆
I can't decide if Ryan looks uninterested or is just shy in some interviews his does. Would be surprising if he's shy, I guess these press things must get tiring.
He's definitely an introvert.
Thank you all for your work & talent ... you really made a great movie
So amazed to see these mega-professionals gathered and sharing their secrets!
I've waited for this my whole life!
Thank God for Damien Chazelle
The interviewer had the longest questions I've ever heard in my life lol
Legendary film that you make for us. Thank you! Greetings from Hungary, Andrea.
A stage full of geniuses
I hope Ryan's "family matter", which made him miss the Baftas, is better now and is not the reason he looks so bummed out during this interview. He's usually more upbeat. Hope the LLL DVD comes out soon!

It has been in cinemas for days/weeks now :D
Lucía Rojas Quesada No I was t talking about that I was talking about Leatherface the upcoming film. But thank you.
Holy crap! Ryan’s jacket makes him look like Officer K from Blade Runner: 2049 😂
I bet they're so bored of talking about this film at this point - they probably can't wait for next Sunday to roll on!
We want them finish together are you thinking to change the final or do a second movie?
This interview wasn't quite Ryan's tempo

When did this happen? I've been wanted to go to an interview but I couldn't find anything online
jon legend could leave the room and no one would notice
Horowitz is real MVP
Why sent such a social awkward interviewer to interview such bright actors who convey their EQ so well???.....
seriously its not a patch on nocturnal animals.
when was this recorded?
I hated the ending but loved the movie.
Naomi Torres whaaaaaaat the ending makes the movie
Tony Chen I know... it just lowkey made me cry lol
i pretend the last half hour didn't happen.
it made me sad at first but when i accepted it i loved it
Emma, let Ryan talk for at least once! In every interview, you volunteer as tribute for every single question! Come on!
Jeffery Miller judging from ryans body language it actually seems like he doesnt really have much to say
He's def. witty though, i'm sure he has sth to say. Damien's and Ryan's look everytime she volunteered is priceless. They are used to it!
Lionsgate Movies #WeWantLeatherface please please I want this film so bad!!!!!!!!!
*******"""""". it's. team work******""
Ryan if u don't wanna go.. u don't have to.. Geez
I think they're obligated to do all of this, so after making 100 interviews in different countries, it can be tiring.
J. Pablo Palancares kjbjj
why are all these interviewers so Damn rude!!!!!!
started 6 years ago...r u kidding me?
yaaa movies can take up to a decade to make

Does anyone else find this interviewer extremely patronising only when he speaks to the women?
'Emma do you have anything to add?' 'Emma you can chime in here' etc.
What an awful, condescending attitude that man has towards the women.
