#8 all the way! Love the lower waisted jeans ....they do a lot for your rectangle body shape. I have the same body shape. When I was young I used lower waist pants and lower slung belts to give me a shape. Now as an older woman it's a bit more difficult with the thickening waistline😅 and dreaded muffin top. So now I wear high waisted pants and hard to find shorter length flowy tops or front tuck t shirts.
Yea, I'm finding that as well, a little harder to wear the low rise as my mid section gets a little softer. So can definitely relate to the preference of HW pants.

I just turned 50🤩 and I have decided to downsize my wardrobe-try my hand at being a minimalist. Over the years, I have tried many styles and fashion trends. I have always felt most happy with the edgy style. So, I am excited to find your channel, which I have binge watched over the last 2 weeks. I'm a school teacher so I can't wear the jeans to work, but I can definitely change the jeans for black slacks or pants. I just love your look and your vibe. My favorite look was the boyfriend jeans with the tall black boots. I didn't think I would like it, but when you showed the complete look, it was my favorite! Thanks for the videos. I love them! I love the blazer look with jeans and tee shirt but the blazer just doesn’t really go with my lifestyle lol. I don’t work out of the home so I wouldn’t be wearing a blazer while cleaning, cooking, dropping off daughter to school or walking the dog. I do try to dress up my jeans and tees with a belt and some simple jewelry.

Haha! I am just like u, a huge fan of Everlane’s authentic stretch line ( have skinny, cigarettes and slim bootcut). Have u tried their The Modern Flare jeans? They are also made of the same high stretch materials. Jeans are full length with the just right amount of a flare. I think u will like them.
How do you have style when your living circumstances (young kids, Live in mtns, etc) limit your expression? I am over 50 and live in the mountains so fancy shoes dont work and I must be ready for temp changes…want to be stylish and really lean towards your mixed androgynous style 🤍 Thx!

If I’m not wearing my scrubs for work, t-shirt and jeans it is. Because I basically wear pajamas to work, I’ve become VERY intolerant to uncomfortable clothing in the rest of my life! 😂
I'm a very short waisted rectangle. My whole torso looks even shorter when I tuck in t-shirts. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I'd like to look more polished but I look ridiculous when I do a full tuck.
If you wear low rise or mid rise jeans you can do a full tuck, half tuck or partial tuck and it will actually help to elongate. Bringing attention to your hips with the lower rise and tucking in will help to elongate the torso. Hope that helps.
I believe they were sort of suppose to be unisex. When I purchased them it was before covid and I was actually in the store and it was on the front table. And I'm pretty sure the sales associate said they were for both. Sorry probably not helpful.
