Thanks for sharing this video. Spring and summer can't come soon enough. I only can give you a big Thanks for your channel since the beginning of the Pandemic. Being stuck at home you opened a door to a wonderful adventure. can't walk so flying lets me see things I would never get to see otherwise. Never flown up by the Stanley Hotel yet after seeing your shots maybe take a trip up there. The maze hedge in front is growing nicely. Seems like lately here in Colorado people trip every time I fly. Even way out in the mountains people still give me static. So many scared of a drone flying overhead. I am not going to lie I just fly/film and post in the raw. Not ever expecting revenue from it I really don't spend to much time on editing. Most of my viewers are just in awe by the view. Doing a review of a ebike last year I crashed and now have leg parylisis. If it wasn't for flying I would of lost my mind. Look forward to your videos on story line development as well as tricks to make a video better. Thanks again for creating such a wonderful channel! Have a great day!

Just starting out with drones here in Bismarck, ND. It can be a bit overwhelming just getting started and not knowing anything about flying a drone much less anything about photo or cinematography. Among all the content creators out there, you have been one of the most helpful to me. I purchased a DJI Neo to start and realized rather quickly that while it is a great drone to dip your toe into the water, something better will be required to really make quality content. Partially because of your help and recommendations I have just purchased the DJI Air 3S. I also participated in your last live stream which was very informative and even had a question answered by you (please continue to do those!). I am looking forward to your next video's in this series as this one was very informative. I am already subscribed and will be becoming a channel member right after this is posted.
Advice from someone that has been down this path, continue to watch several drone YTers you like to pickup tips and ideas. But overall you'll just need to take one thing at a time and practice it. When you go out to fly always have something you want to practice. That could be improving your flying skills, tuning your gain/expo setting, using a specific function of your drone, or photography skills or when at home editing skills. Do this over and over and when you finally go on vacation someplace nice you'll be better prepared to capture that amazing footage.

I just got my air 3s :) and I rebought my trusty old sony a6400 camera again. I have the technical knowledge and can make lightroom sing and dance but my composition is the weakest part of my shots. Sometimes I lack the artist's eye

Love Epidemic Sound. I bypassed using one of their files recently and opted for a music file downloaded from within the CapCut app. Got a copywrite warning from RUclips because of that sound file.
If I want a clip of flying close by an object in reverse but worried about crashing, I record it flying forward then reverse the clip in post edit.
I don't if it is just me, but when I am back home watching the recorded material, I start thinking all the other takes I could have done. As part of planning I should just look at the place and its surroundings and think of all the possible takes. I tend to forget the waypoint flights (Air 3).
Hey Russ, I have a problem with my dji mini 3. Every flight, even after calibration. The altitude height display is never correct. Have you had a similar problem? Any recommendations? Thank you in advance ☺️

Buddy, I'm surprised that you haven't done a video on DJI killing it's geofencing
I originally bought a drone to attempt to see if in low wind I could capture an image of pink-cancer-air as a bubble in the sunset. [a real thought]. I found so much more though. One of the most interesting recently is seeing banned air pollution created during a daytime low-temperature-inversion (fog in the day, like past 10am). That smoke was then heated up by the sun which created more powerful vortexes as the daytime cold front passed over us. The tornado damage mapped literally expands as it picked up the sun-heated banned air pollution created by commercial land clearing fires ignoring Rules in 111.219. The fog photos are amazing & the tornado damage is wild.
I don't understanding anything you said, but would love to see you tell the story with your drone footage.
@@riskybusiness5 Smog(smoke) get hot when hit with sunlight & that hot air mixing with cold-front air creates tornadoes. There was a 2020 NASA article about how foolish it was for us not to realize. My County doesn't allow land clearing burning when fog is in the forecast, the paper company land owners near me burnt anyway & it destroyed homes with a tornado.

Question : I too have a RUclips channel with under 200 subs, but one 30 second video of a water tower has over 125k views. Do you have any advice on the algorithm and what I could do to up my viewers? Thanks :)

Oh gee... really. Lol I've looked at all it's stats. Best I can tell it must have caught a play next recommendation. There was a couple coming down around the time I posted it so I thought that was maybe it. That's kinda hard to duplicate. What about total time of the video. Most of mine are around a song in length. Do you think shorter length is better. What about Shorts, are those any help in getting notice?
@ Shorts are one of the best ways to bring people to the channel. I have one shorts video that has resulted in almost 20,000 subscribers. I would start there.

Yeah but when you stop paying the money for the music. Guess what we found! All the music you got copy right free are no more! You have to change all your music on old videos. Vinny say “You don’t pay your monthly protection $ you don’t get the music”
Something I never never liked about these services and how YT handles them. If you are not a full-time creator making money off your videos, it doesn't make sense.
The Google music archive is free and fairly large. I've used it quite a bit.

It's the bottom tab in RUclips Studio (browser) isn't in the app as far as I can tell.
