Did this train ride with my late fiancé. A great memory I will always cherish!!!
Sorry for your lose.. hope all is well my friend. Keep going forward!
Poor Karl is trapped in that friendzone.
Maybe she can date him now that she’s single lol
This train looks incredible! Love when Ashley gets excited over something. You can always tell it's something she truly enjoys :)
I Work on the train, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! We try our best to make every guests experience magical, especially during the Santa Express, which is what im working on now!
When’s the best time to book a ride? Thinking about taking my daughter
What is the best train ride for a couple without kids looking for scenic ?? All are holiday trains right now :/ we don’t mind the holiday cheer but we prefer less kids.. looking for the most sophisticated and romantic ?
Thank you for your hard time spent.
Thanks for letting me know it's accessible. Saves me lots of digging.
What a amazing trip
Both. Looks awesome!
I took that train in 1971, didnt have the outdoor car then or at least my family didn’t go outside that looked really cool. I would never go across that bridge. You two look like you have a lot of fun together, great vid. Thanks.
Me & a friend got a stellar Groupon deal 4 skydiving at Royal Gorge about 3 years ago! Needless 2 say it was 1 of the best moments of my life, can’t wait 2 go again!
The train ride looks amazing 😍
That train journey looked awesome

Train!! And it turns out I just found out this year two bio relatives of mine helped build the Royal Gorge Bridge. I'll admire it.... from a distance :) But I LOVE trains!
When she said she was a sucker for salmon lol yes that’s me too🙌🏾 I think I’m going to Colorado Springs
Just too good ❤️
Awesome video! After watching this, I changed around my plans to fit this on my schedule. Thank you.
Good Morning. Thanks for all the tips
i went across the bridge when i was a wee little lad, i saw the train from above, it was a cloudy day like that, now i want to go on the train, this was a kindling of memories for me, thanks for the posting of it!
I am so excited I found this vlog!! My family and I are headed to Colorado in March. I can't wait to experience this beautiful adventure.
Was on the bridge with my family and friends in 2016 but could not board the train. Its a great place.

He really is!!!
Train looked fascinating and what a view, Bridge ... no never ever thanks. :-)
Most you tubers can annoy me but you’ll don’t. I like your vids. Was just at the Springs a couple of weeks ago and went on the Royal Gorge train ride. Awesome!
Slick vid guys. Love the enthusiasm
This just looks amazing
Wow.. the gorge looked so beautiful. It's so cool how the train has that dome so you see everything. - T
Yeah it looks awesome and I loved that we could see from anywhere.
Thanks for bringing back some great memories. I did the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park and the Railroad back in May. I was super lucky with the weather; clear blue skies, but it was a lot more crowded. The train was full but still lots of fun, particularly in the open cars. We couldn’t drive over the bridge but walking over it was a hoot, especially when the Park Ranger drove past in his truck; rattle, rattle, shake, shake. Hope you heeded the signs and didn’t fish from the bridge.
Hehe, I loved those no fishing signs
so lovely ... even though you were cold, I loved the rock tunnel...stay safe...xo
Oh it WAS cold, but so worth it.
I feel like I'm in the Lord of the Rings....love your energy and excitement!! Makes me want to do it too. 🥰🥰🥰💯
really cool!! we will there next sept 25! thanks for your video!!
We did the Royal Gorge Bridge for the first time in November when we were in Colorado. It was a beautiful sunny day when we were there and we did the tram across the gorge. Not gonna lie, it took some serious convincing to get us to go across in the tram. I wasn't able to use a ton of vlog footage from crossing the gorge because my hand was shaking so much. Ha! We're not huge fans of heights, but we're so glad we did it. We didn't do the train, but I wish we would have. Next time! Loved the train footage through the gorge.
Oh it's SUCH a beautiful place! We'll have to go back in the sunshine! But it was a WONDERFUL place to visit. And there is so much to do there.
I was there 1980 it's awesome
Love the music
Are they ever capable of saying that anything is not good? It’s freezing. It’s so foggy that you can’t see anything. It’s helpful to be honest and say that you would recommend traveling here during a better season. Everything can’t be AMAZING.
I live in Colorado Springs and My grandparents live in canon city and I’ve been riding that train since ‘05, that 403 is an EMD F7A, used to be Chicago and North Western 4079C.
@@drubajathegreatspellcaster1829 no, you’re a bot
I’ve always wanted to ride an old school train that serve food. Thanks to you guys I found it.But I would do both train & bridge that is for sure lol
Both a must!
The Royal Gorge Bridge is perfect metaphor for the town it resides by: A bridge that leads to no where. Seeing it once is more than enough. There are way better places to go and more productive uses of your time. Pick some place else.
soooo cool!! I am moving to denver and I can soo see this being a weekend trip!
Train ride can't wait to go now
Colorado is sooo high on my list. Your videos are pushing it higher and higher!!
Yesss! Success! Haha
i am in colorado right now!!! we are going on a train ride and going to see the royal gourge* bridge!!!
Wow!! I have never seen the Royal Gorge like that in the fog. So beautiful. I was so sad when the fire hit there, so many rumors that they were going to close it down for good. So happy they didn't. As a kid this was the place my whole family went to about once or twice a year. Such an amazing place, glad you guys went there! I have never been on the train, but now seeing this I really want too!!
It was magical in the fog! I won't lie, my eyes moistened as we watched the video about the fire. So glad it's back and seemingly better than ever.
Thanks for showing some US travel. I have never been to Colorado, I had no idea it was so pretty. I was so happy for Ashley when she got to stand outside the train. What a neat perspective !
It was almost surreal to be outside walking around while the train chugged through the canyon.
Been there 2x & will come back to explore more!
Caryn & Corgi I spent ten days in Colorado in May. We Aussies are usually pretty well travelled and I’ve seen a lot of the world but have to say Colorado was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. If you go, get yourself down to Durango and ride the steam train to Silverton (the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad). It’ll blow you away. It’s a real piece of US history come to life. Oh, and hire a car and drive to the top of Pikes Peak, just outside Colorado Springs. The drive can be a bit scary (don’t think I’d do it in winter) but the view from the top is sensational.
Im Filipino American leave here in Colorado springs,,its been 10 years i went to royal gorge before the fire..nice video
Just FYI, the Royal Gorge Bridge is not in Colorado Springs, but is about an hour and fifteen minute drive SW outside of Canon City. They appear to have done this in the spring which is still a bit chilly here, so if you come during the summer, take a white water rafting tour through the Gorge too. It is a blast!
So So cool the video 📹I am so excited to go there and really want to enjoy the train journey plus food, it looks so amazing specially Salmon and potatoes 🥔 and balsamic vinegar on top, very nice video!! I really want to try that cake too 😋,I love your channel it's very informative 👌thanks keep it up!
What an awesome train ride - I would do that for sure, probably multiple times! The bridge is debatable. In the fog maybe, because what does me in is seeing how far down everything is. But not if it's the kind of bridge that sways and such in the wind or while people are walking across it.
This was amazing... I wanna be on that train in that dining car foreverrrrr 😍😍😍😍😍
Ahmad Zafar Maybe Amtrak Superliner has the Dining Car.
GoldenPNMRailfan/ROBLOX&Elevators Entertainment Amtrak’s Superliners do indeed have dining cars but the dome cars on the Royal Gorge Route Railroad date from the 1950s, the golden age of passenger railroading when the railroads were doing their best to compete with those new fangled aeroplanes. It’s quite nostalgic riding in them.
Josh looks to have the "Colorado Squint"... :P
Maybe time to buy some shades...
Would possibly be a great view for photos from atop the bridge without the fog, so I'd be game...
The train looks fun also...
Yep! It was super bright in the morning against the pavement.
Amen great video ya'all. Im from Co actually.
Train looks so fun and food looked amazing. Bridge NEVER! 😂
Never?! It's only the highest bridge in the US! (World?)
It was the highest in the world until fairly recently when the Chinese (of course) built a higher one. Love that the side rails on the bridge are so low. You can really hang over to get a great view.
The last time I was at the Royal Gorge was back in the late 70,s ish, with my family, I was about maybe 12 at that time, I was so chicken to cross the Bridge🙈 the board’s seem more looser at the time lol, I’m so afraid of heights and the worst thing I did was look down👀😲 talk about a panic attack I couldn’t wait until we got to the other side 😬🙄. But I’m 54 now and that train ride looks so fun and Amazing and I’d definitely try that one day and the food looks so delicious 😋 I don’t know if I will go to the bridge again I rather be under the bridge 😂🤭, thank you so much for the Awsomeness video 🙋🏻♀️🤘🏼🤘🏼✌🏼👊🏻
I wouldn't go on the bridge. But that train ride looks heavenly
I was there in 2013 right after the fire you mentioned...I went white water rafting on the gorge and the rapids were black from all of the burned foliage runoff. It was crazy, never seen before kinda stuff!
Oh wow. Must have been eerie
Amazing ride!! TY! Am I the only one who has ever said that you look kinda like a young Eric Stoltz??
Been on the royal gorge it's cracking
Both! My next adventure. I did go horseback riding in the garden of the Gods.
I walked across that bridge in 1965 and they also let cars drive across it and the boards beneath my feet moved when the car went by. It was one of the scariest walks I've ever taken. Almost 1,000 feet down - and down below is a raging, white water river which looks like a tiny stream from that height.
Nancy Desch ... 1965???
Yeah, 1965!!!! I'm not talking 1865, I'm saying 1965. What's the problem? The bridge was built in 1929.
I rode across the bridge with my parents in 1962--too afraid to walk 'cause you could see the bottom of the Gorge through the cracks between the boards.
I hear you. It was without a doubt the most terrifying walk I've ever taken. As the wind blows the bridge lifts up and down too. Yikes I almost froze a couple of time I was so scared.
The TRAIN for sure!!
I would take the train, walk the bridge, and even eat the food (except the cake). I would pay big money to see Cassie and Susan walk the bridge!
Dang I'm away for a month and come back to 64k 😵 You guys are killing it! 👏🎉🎉🎉
😍 haha thanks Jodi! #wayfam killing it!
All aboard the train for me :) (Ash you'd be a great conductor! ) I'd be a little skittish on the bridge but probably with some arm twisting LOL I'd give it a go. Agree about the fog! Gave the surroundings a kind of mystical feel. Hey your friend isn't the only one who hasn't been on a train by the way! He sure had an awesome christening! I have played with model trains...and honestly still would. Ohhhh that phrase "trip that bankrupts the English language"...love it!
Good ol Teddy had a way with words, not unlike you ;)
Oh gosh, I'm blushing here. Thank you
"Siri, show me every millennial stereotype"
Been on that train it's cracking
Love the train! Wouldn't get me on that bridge for love nor money, I don't mind being up high but always manage to convince myself I'll fall to my death! You guys should try the North Yorkshire Steam Railway if you are ever that way on in the world (England). You can take a steam train journey through the little villages and it's really pretty.
the views from the train
TBH we don't really have bloopers, if we do something funny it's usually in the vlog :p
Hey was the meal included with the ticket price? or was is it separate?
could someone answer!!!
I love your content, if you don't mind what type of camera did you guys use the shots are so stunning ♥️♥️♥️
I worked at the BBQ restaurant on the far side of the bridge. It was in the early spring and we had a really heavy wet snow. There was but mayb and inch or two of slush on the bridge. I was getting a ride in the golf cart with a co worker to the restaurant and the cart started to do a donut on the bridge. It was Soo fun. We did a few more along the way. People thought we were insane. The bridge is a lot more fun than the train.
Josh you are good looking with glasses :D
We are going this summer
I didn't know that they have a train!
muy bonito 👍👍
I live in Denver, and this is always a go to for us! I love seeing people enjoy the stuff us natives do!
You're a native american!
Train for sure!! Looked amazing and you get to outside!! Should have had some spooky music though, scenery didn't really go with funky disco 😏
Agreed.
amazing trip 😊 in what month did you do the train ride?
Have you guys gone to ride the narrow gauge steam powered durango and silverton?
wow guys this was freakin badasssssss
