When I reloaded in the 1980's I used to pick up wads from a local range, wash them and inspect them and reload them. Always worked well and had no issues with them.
I hired a professional to do the camera work. I think he’s done a belting good job. You can see more of his work in movies like “the fast and the dead” 👌👍
seeing as how scarce reloading components are nowadays.... probably not a bad idea to reuse whatever you can find.....not so much the aspect of saving money, but more so to have something to shoot
No concerns about debris imbedded in the wad damaging your barrel on that second firing? Maybe not as big of an issue, looks like your part of the world is made of dirt. Mine is made of sand and rocks, gets everywhere.
@@belsayshootingground I just got a 10 gauge, and components are scarce for it. I fired 4 rounds, got a bruise, and then went and picked up my wads...just in case. I have primers, powder and shot. Who knows what'll happen with the Alzheimer's patient/puppet 'in charge' here, could get worse.

I agree mate, I wouldn’t use second hand wads. It’s all changing to fibre now anyway so this old video is basically obsolete now
