Bronco is my favorite because it was one of the bots that I considered the big 3 (Bite Force, Tombstone, and Bronco) and at the time was the best flipper and it was awesome seeing robots flying through the air.
Congratulations! You're the winner of the Hexbug set! Please email us at botbashparties@gmail.com to claim the prize!
I can't believe nobody has mentioned Bronco as their favorite robot from Inertia Labs. It is unfortunate that they no longer retain rights to it, but at least Bronco can live on unrestrained in BattleBots history. I remember poring over a BattleBots book as a kid, and there was probably a crease in the spine were Bronco's pages were. It had vertical punching power like nothing else in its time, and, because of its incredibly light chassis, could out-maneuver many of its opponents. Much love to Inertia Labs, I hope y'all make it back to the BattleBots Arena soon! Or maybe a guest appearance on NHRL!
Well, I can say Bronco is my favorite, and it's so sad to see what happened to him in s4. I truly miss him :,(
Bronco is my favorite Battlebots of all time. Skorpios is my 2nd favorite. I immediately smiled when I saw the title of this video. God i truly miss Bronco, he used to be so dominant in the early season but then bombed so hard in s4. And now he's gone, never returned for s6 & s7, retired for good, truly sad :,(
It's at least nice to see reason again and all the nice comments praising inertia labs
My favorite Inertia Labs robot is absolutely Toro. The first episode of BB I watched when I was 8, and it featured the Superheavyweight rumble where Toro flipped HALF the field with ease. It's largely responsible for my fandom for robot combat today for getting me hooked with that single fight ❤️
Bronco still holds a special place in my heart. I especially loved all the add ons they came up with. The twangers, the unicorn horn!
I always loved T-Minus. It always has a certain panache every time it flipped opponents and itself, not to mention the fact it ended Hazard's winning streak.
Bronco was a legend when I started watching, Bronco and Tombstone were my all time favorites back then
Most people don't know about their EPIC antweight drumbot in the mid-2000s! HUMMER!
My favorite Inertia Labs fighting bot was Toro! I started watching Battlebots back in '00. Those first few seasons had Toro, Tazbot, Ziggo, Atomic Wedgie and the other pioneers. Toro was just such a fun looking bot with the horns that would flip bots like an angry bull. Very nostalgic for me. And a Champion!
My favorite would have to be Toro. It was the first flipper bot I ever saw when I watched Battlebots as a kid, and it was so fun to see other robots flying through the air. But on top of that I loved the clouds of steam that would come out of the robot after each flip - it just looked so cool and it was the perfect stylistic touch. Sad to hear Inertia Labs isn't planning to return, but I'm grateful for all the awesome memories they've given us over the years!
Bronco is by far my favorite bot of all time. I love any bot that wins by throwing its opponent to death.
Used to love T-Minus as a kid. Loved watching it flip everything, and itself and then watching it launch itself to self right. Toro is definitely a close second. Inertia Labs is the Reason (Bradley) I love battle bots as much as I do.
fav was T-Minus all the way. Only robot to beat Hazard iirc
Hazard would later lose to Max Wedge and another bot built by Greg Gibson
Bronco is our entire family’s favorite bot of all time!
Bronco Is my favorite bot from Inertia labs! I really like the pneumatic flipper!
Bronco was my first true battlebots love and easily top 3 to this day. ❤
I favorite Inertia Labs robot has to be T-Minus! It was just a miniature Toro that ran rampage in the Middleweights. My favorite part of this robot was that it had such a powerful flipper that it would even flip itself! That was so amazing to see as it flip another bot and also flip itself in the process. Then T-Minus would spend time to flip itself back in the process. That was not only funny but just impressive. They put so much work into making T-Minus work in the middleweight class and it really shows. Back then Inertia Labs were the leaders in flippers and T-Minus was a testament to that mastery.
For me, Bronco really represented what flippers could really be capable of. In the UK we're very used to CO2 powered flippers, but a lot of them felt nerfed either because they, if my guess is correct, were trying to conserve on CO2 or were being extra careful about not going too powerful.
Bronco was the epitome of FULL BEANS!! And it's still a favourite of mine to this day.
For me it is either the butcher (cool horizontal powered by pneumatics), or The Matador, It was basically the og Bronco in season 4.0, but became more like t minus, but while it didnt have a good record compared to t minus, toro and bronco, its matches were all incredible (and the titanium sparks that came off it) . I dont see people talk that much about The Matador, but It was always one of my favorites.
Was always a fan of Toro, but all the Inertia Labs flippers were rad!
My favorote robot from them was the Butcher. No one probably remembers this robot, but the butcher was a pnumatic spinner that had a free spinning weapon powered by bursts of gas. I love the concept behind a spinner without belts, chains, or even motors that can fail during a fight. If I remember correctly, the butcher destroyed the few opponents that it had. Imagine a modern full body spinner with such a system.
The butcher was awesome, that fight where it turned evil cheese wedge into dust was just awesome, and it's one of the most unique spinners I've ever seen
My favorite robot is Bronco because he was among the first robots I met and I loved him. I was immediately intrigued by the idea of "throwing" the opposing robot into the air to throw him out of the area or do damage to him when he falls to the ground. when he retired I couldn't find another pinball machine like him because even though Hydra is there it doesn't have the same style as Bronco. however I really appreciated the idea of bringing it to destruct a thon.
Bronco is my favorite for being the ICONIC and BEST pneumatic flipper I've ever seen. Bronco is the bot I've ever seen since 2015. Toro is GREAT too.
Bronco, and more specifically, the six wheeled version of Bronco!!!
My favorite Inertia Labs bot is...
Their Next one!
(unless they've fully retired from the sport, then I'm sad instead.)
S6 was the first ever time team inertia labs didn't come to a Battlebots event. They didn't come in s7 either. I truly hope they return cause I miss them :,(
Bronco! Seeing their robots thrown to the ceiling caused builders to build more durable robots. That allowed robots to get thrown to the ceiling repeatedly and continue fighting, which brought about longer and more exciting fights. Bronco pushed the evolution of BattleBots.
The Butcher was my favorite. A super heavy weight with a co2 powered disk weapon. It wasnt very powerful or successful, but it was pushing the boundaries of super HW of the time.
Probably The Butcher for me. A pneumatic spinner is just such a cool idea for a weapon.
Honestly a true pioneer
My favorite inertia labs robot is probably T-Minus but bronco is the robot thst got me hooked in 2015, i saw Plan X vs Bronco and i was stunned, i hadnt ever seen a flipper before nor an OOTA, so when i first saw that fight, i was juat blown away
Toro is definitely my favorite Battlebot of theirs. Throwing all the super heavies around and against the walls was so cool. I even have a 3dp fairyweight robot I made styled like Toro that I named Olé!

I wasn’t around at the time of the OG Battlebots, so I’m pretty much saying Bronco, but even then, I don’t know if any of their other robots could top what Bronco did.
People could probably say that they like Bronco for their out of the arenas, but what I find to be even more impressive was that Bronco actually drove on a gap in between the outside and inside barriers for reboot Battlebots season 1. He did have to flip himself to get off, though. But even then, who else can say they drove on the side barrier.
Edit: Just checked, and it happened early on in the Stinger fight of Season 1, so if your curious as to what episode it should be there
T minus. Saw it live at 3.0 and its ridiculous triple back flip self right inspired me to build a pneumatic flipper too!
My fav all time bot is Bronco so that’s also my favorite inertia labs bot, because it’s so FLIPPING cool!
Thanks for the video, this was so cool to hear the backstory of them and also the IP going to Battlebots for Bronco.
My favorite has gotta be Bronco. First fight I saw against tombstone, first piece of merch. I'm not huge on paint so it looks really clean to me. I wish they tried figuring out hydrolics.
T-Minus for sure! My other favourite middleweight was actually Complete Control, and I was sad to see it get defeated by Hazard. As the only bot that was able to beat Hazard, my vote for favourite Inertia Labs bot has to be T-Minus!
It's a tought call for me between T-Minus and Bronco. Bronco being a heavyweight and chucking stuff around was great, but T-Minus was just... chaotic.
Toro is my favorite because of the horns!
Probably Touro, just love old school.
Would love to see Bronco come back but it’s been 5 years since.
I love bronco and the pneumatic flipper design. Bronco is one of my favorite battle bots!
This was hard because I've been a big fan of many of the robots Inertia Labs have brought to Battlebots. If I had to choose one, I would go with The Butcher. I think its really cool how they used pneumatics to spin up a spinner so it could deliver a big punch to their opponents. I still remember what it did to Evil Cheese Wedge in S5.0 which was nuts and i wish there were more televised fights of it. Watching this video made me wonder how well The Butcher might do in the current field if a more technologically advanced version of it was brought to a future season of Battlebots.
Can we all just appreciate that there's ~180lbs of aluminum just chilling on an mdf shelf that's screwed into the ceiling on one side.
Bronco has been my all time favorite inertia labs robot, the flips on it are just so powerful and it’s just so entertaning to watch.
Gotta say Toro, go big or go home. And it won a champion bracket as well as a rumble!
Rhino because they wanted to fight the Jamie Hyneman's robot and I respesect Jamie so much I wish he was still interested in building battle bots, because he would definitely by in the finals every year. Plus I love how the Witch Doctor crew has come up with kits for first timers to build their own and series of videos about it. Now, if I can aford my medical bills from Multiple Scelrosis and to construct my own, with hiring a team...
We saw Bronco at Destructathon last July jump itself onto the upper deck to continue attacking Chopper.
My favorite bot was T-Minus. Just chaos personified.
A shame there's no footage of Bronco in destruct-a-thon cause I really would have love to see it
Bronco is my favorite bot, I was so sad when I heard that they retired it. Now I am once again ecstatic to know that Bronco is still running and fighting. Makes me proud to be a BattleBots fan to know that one day I will be able to see him fight again.
Bronco was part of the big three. Nuff said.
T-minus I love watching it just launch itself when trying to self-right and it ending hazards winning streak was awesome
Toro since it flipped like a king and i had the bump n bash
I love bronco. IOts bent the rules time and time again, and is just so iconic.
I’d definitely say Bronco is my favorite Inertia Labs robot; the spectacle of seeing it jump into the air and how incredibly dominant it was back then made me fall in love with BattleBots so much (It being the only non-spinner in the Top 16 in 2018 was amazing to see!)
My favorite was toro. I rememeber the first episode of battlebots i ever watched (season 3, episode 1, for those wondering), and it had toro vs world peace as the final fight of the episode. From that moment on, i was hooked. So, toro, and inertialabs as a whole, will always have a special place in my heart.
Bronco may not be as old as the others but he is so iconic and my all time favorite battlebot just due to the air time in all the fights. We will miss you bronco😢
I love t minus. Love the content
Toro! Toro! Toro! big, imposing, powerful, and made for great intros.
Bronco because it was the epitome of a great flipper when i started getting into robot fighting
one favourite oh I pick T-Minus I mean I like Toro and Bronco just as much but I think T-Minus has the most coolest flips and self-righting not to mention pulling the biggest upset in battlebots history by beating undefeating champ Hazard
I love initial labs robot because it’s cool and fun. I think it’s a great bot.
Its a bit of an obvious pick, but I've got to go with T-Minus for my favorite. Seeing it's ridiculous backflips to self right was always fun, and you gotta give it props for being the only bot on the show to topple Hazard in spectacular fashion.
Bronco, but oh no, not the current version. The 6 wheel drive version from the early days when the weapons had lower energy and popular horizontal spinner strategy was to tire poach. The only answer.... More tires!! Watching Bronco 6x6 drag itself around the box and still win "it's just a flesh wound!!!"
My favorite inertia labs robot is actually "The Butcher". The idea of a pneumatic air powered spinning blade sounds ridiculous and amazing to me. It also had an amazing moment where it tore apart "Evil Cheese Wedge" in season 5.0 of the comedy central series
My favorite Inertia Labs robot has got to be T-Minus. It was the very first robot that I ever saw on tv when it faced Huggy Bear and I was just blown away by the crazy flips that it could do and thus it started my love of flippers and all of Inertia Labs other bots
Some random person:what are you most excited for in 2024
Me:W R E C K S returns!
Yes this has nothing to do with the video but they own Wrecks so I thought I should say it!
toro was always my favorite. while it is fun watching destruction unfortunatly flippers and anything else without a saw sucks.
That shelf looks SOOOOO un-OSHA safe!!!
do you think Bronco is coming back to Battlebots 2024 season?
Bronco or Toro maximus
Why is toro all torn up?
Fought Phrizbee Ultimate (Brian Nave's bot) at Season 5.0 on Comedy Central and was pretty badly torn up, especially for running away.
Bronco, because it was a super powerful flipper that could launch bots through the air.
of course i have to pick bronco. it fight againts stinger was the first robot combatics fight i ever saw and what got me into battlebots!
