With O&A gone after Ant getting fired, and Stern Show going to shit over the years kissing celeb ass / banning old bits and guests like Gilbert (when he actually does a show 2 times a month) ...I miss the good old days of radio.
I used to be a loyal Stern listener back in the 80's/90's, but when he started phoning it in ("Ah, what's next, Robin..."), I tuned out. O&A are more honest now then Howard. Howie's got this whole weird cult of personality superstar BS thing going on now.

Howard has lost his touch, but in his prime he was truly the comedy king of all media. Opie and Anthony have always come off as unlikable and full of spite. Just examine how they differ when it comes to angry callers: Howard used to be a genius at completley dismantling people through humour. Opie and Anthony resort to almost muting the caller while repeadiatly screaming SHADDAP YA DUMMY!!! at the top of their lungs. No humour of finesse there...
O & A treat callers like shit sometimes as part of their act and it makes for good radio, and that's one of the MILLION ways where they don't copy Howard. It's part of the show! They say what we think. These days Ant just hangs up on them cause being "(WNEW) shocky" (for lack of a better term) is not a part of his show. Howard has a big ego and as a listener I can't relate to that I INVENTED EVERYTHING attitude that he developed sometime in the 90's. Also him asking every man how big his penis size is really fucking annoying. I do appreciate everything that Howard has done for radio but one does not have to have a big head about it. Both Opie and Anthony would (and have) drag someone off the street and give them an interview if it made good radio, and that is something I can relate to, that is why I prefer O&A to Howard anyday, hell I prefer Ron & Fez over Howard.
The most painfully annoying thing about howard is how he will rip apart anyone from his staff for the smallest concieved issue, except for fucking Robin. EVER.
GODSPEEDYOU17 I agree I can't stand Robin. Her delivery stinks! and when something goes wrong with the show she's the first to pretend like she had nothing to do with it.
