Before you said to practice good voice-leading inversions in exercise 2, it occurred to me (even before peeking). These exercises lend themselves to learning so many things, and so pleasantly, no boredom or stress!

That first one sounds like a variation of Moulin de Ville La Candeur, which isn't a bad thing at all. Playing arpeggios to sound musical? Ok, will do.
