I'm very surprised with A74 low light results. It's not far from A7S3. I personally think it's even better than A7S3 in term of brightness. It must be because of Sony new 33MP technology sensor.

I really liked the samples but with the names there I think my bias towards a7s3 ruined my judgement.
Can you please make a blind test as well?
Maybe just reupload the same video but without showing the names of the cameras and only labelling them as A and B then telling which was a and b at the end.

For sharpness, there is not much difference between A7IV and A7SIII unless you are doing pixel peeping.
For low light, A7SIII's footage below 12800 iso are basically unusable for too much noises but A7IV footage up to 16000 iso is very usable.
For rolling shutter, A7SIII has no noticeable rolling shutter if you shooting fast pan while A7IV does. I heard that the A7IV rolling shutter is greatly reduced if you shoot in crop mode. Under normal video shooting without very fast panning, there are no noticeable rolling shutter under both A7SIII and A7IV
For color, I think I love A7IV color better as it is more natural, the A7SIII footage seems a bit too yellowish to me.
For 4k120P, definitely 4K120P is hand down better under A7SIII as compared to HD120P under A7IV. I heard HD120P under crop mode is significantly sharper under A7IV, would like to see comparison between A7IV cropped HD120P and A7SIII 4K120P.

Where a7sIII is better in iso, there it is weak in resolution. 2 years advantage is visible in a7IV but I think a7Iv could have been a better camera. The street shot was in crop mode? Because the rolling shutter in crop mode is slightly better than in full resolution. This can cause people may think that it is a good camera for video however a7IV's rolling shutter is very awful. It has som good features, such as the breathing compensation and the in body active (software) stabilization which with 10% gives such a good picture as a gimball. However this active stabilization sometimes gives a weaving video. 12Mp is not bad for photo but I would choose the a7sIII with its no crop and 120fps functions.

The A7SIII is not really much better than the A7IV in low light. But in sharpness, the A7IV is the obvious winner. With that in mind, I have to compare the A7IV to the A7RIV.

Hi, thanks to share your interesting video. I have to buy a new camera, maybe the Sony A7 IV. . I will have to use Sony A7 IV enough often in Africa to shoot 4K documentaries in remote areas. Do you think the Sony A7 IV will be sturdy enough to withstand the heat, dust and humidity? Thank you.

People have already reported on overheating issues with A7IV. You have to make sure the LCD screen is out and to the side, it's the main issue in causing overheating.
