I really like Star Trek. One of the local operators here has one. They just took it in for a tune up and update it with 1.6. I can't wait to play it. All the new features look really fun. First time I played an LE was at SFGE last summer in Atlanta. First time the lazer show came on for Klingon multi-ball, I froze from surprise/awe and all the balls drained. It's illegal to tear down old buildings here in Charleston.

I know nothing about the real table, and sadly, I'm kinda stuck to digital pinball for pretty much ever unless I get some actual money. I just bought the digital version of this table on Pinball Arcade. I stumbled on this video when looking up videos about how to play the table, because I dunno what I'm doing. I didn't realize there were two versions. It's weird, the table on Pinball Arcade seems to be the Premium version, but it has the Pro back glass. That's what was throwing me off when I looked it up. I was going entirely on the back glass. I assumed since it had the Pro back glass, it must've been the Pro table. This video tells me otherwise, because it seems to have everything the Premium one has, even down to the red color scheme with the ship on the side art. It's just the back glass that has the wrong artwork. Neat.

I soooooo want a Star Trek Premium, so much nicer looking to the standard version. Played one in an arcade that had a white (guessing non-programmed color) LED display in it. Much better looking than the red ones. Happy belated birthday Frank!
Wallace.... you damn legend you.. Also, that is 100% the nicest 3rd Encounters on planet Earth. you guys did a great job with that, especially the purple LEDs in the back. really sharp looking game
so you would sell a pro pinball with a premium back glass and a premium pinball with a pro back glass?? go to the stern website and you will know what I mean...
great video. just watched a few of your understanding pinball, very informative. also watched 2002 infomercial and was suprised to see todd dancing! no jackie gleason but ok! lol. what ever happened to the rubber hand gig? thanks for the videos.
The difference between the premium and the pro is quite fascinating Captain Todd. That being said, who released the first pinball with custom multi colour LEDS? Jersey Jack or Stern? Another great video by TNT.
gallimead Jersey Jack can lay that claim for the multicolored LED's!! Glad you liked the video...we are getting a BUNCH of games ready this week...trying to get them filmed after finishing them...so it looks like some combo videos heading your way!
mr2foryou It's at the local diner.....and its rich, thick and creamy....makes a meal in itself! When you visit, and if it is a Tuesday, you can get some yourself!
Out of curiosity, in regards to T2's flash lamps, were those meant for modifications, because I've seen various T2 cabinets on RUclips which had these flash lamps, and I thought it was a DIY gimmick.
TNT Amusements Inc interesting. and to be honest, the lamps are a good gimmick that adds more feeling to the game which in turn makes it feel like being in the movie, like Discs of Tron's environmental cabinet did for Tron
Hey guys, love your videos!! I'm a proud owner of a Star Trek Premium, and I love it! I wanted to point out that you swapped the two translites for the Star Trek Pro and Premium machines. You may want to swap them back before sending to your customers. :-)

Interesting that you have a system 1 machine (Close Encounters) that has 60+ credits on it. I have a Genie that resets to 70 credits when the last game is used. Is that a common problem with system 1's?
sside8 When you take the battery out, the credits available can go very high. If you change the battery and keep the credits ABOVE 15, then you can have TONS of credits that will stay even when game is turned off. BUT, once the credits hit 15, then they will not go above that number! YOU may have a dead battery...which would explain why the credits jump around.
Good Stuff! I have a Gottlieb Close Encounters in my basement that doesn't look quite like the one in this video :) It plays pretty well, and the play field looks great (basic lights and rubber) but there are some mechanical errors with the spin target and front 1000 pop bumper that won't score. If you know anything about why the spin target gets hung up, or put off course that'd be great. It causes for the spin target to not score, or spin, and even sometimes make a jamming noise when it's suppose to spin :( I typically have to pause the game, take the glass off, and manually spin the target until it scores and rotates on it's own again. As for the front pop bumper, it still pops, but just won't score. Any insight would be highly appreciated!! I love your videos, you and your staff have quite the skills!
Geoff Weiss the roto wheel has to be completely taken apart, cleaned, coil sleeve changed, contacts cleaned, and realigned. The pop bumper has a broken score switch blade underneath!
Edmond Niemczura No...they are on printed circuit boards and not replaceable. The entire board has to be changed if one goes out. Everything now is surface mount.

Hey Todd whats the cost difference between the two
dvddmc The pro is $5199 and the Premium is $7299...but well worth the $2100 difference.
From Flynn's arcade
Ali Adinehzadeh direct from there!
Next tmnt cabinet I want don't forget me....
brian richards Well, I still have a few...I think I am down to 5 of these now...but two are rented out for the summer...
Does a computer controlled, color changing LED bulb look like a regular LED bulb? Are they changeable when they burn out in a million years?

I take drop target assemblies apart. :)
