i think it has to do with how it tracks which is the "true" truffle, to stop things like him attacking into teeth and then spawning a second truffle that then also suddenly gets to attack you

Everytime I spend 10 minutes on that fight I think to myself 'Voyix wouldn't do this shit, he'd just get out and win anyway'. And the next game, I'll do it again, damn it. But I will say, each time you kill that lone Winter Worm behind the boss (ie Bam), instead of keeping it for a double...me sad

A Lupa-Snoffel infinite snow combo sounds fun
it ends up getting farmed by snow resistant enemies, but it does lock out every other enemy in the game
You could have had 1-turn Snoffel in this run too, although 1-turn chuckle charm Fizzle is basically just as good

sounds absolutely miserable yeah. i think you can do a lot of optimizing at the start of the run and it's all really unfun to do

comparing actual units to pets is not a very sound line since you dont start the game with knuckles. he's pretty unlike any other unit in the game
