Almost cried at the part where he explained the instance where the blind girl pulled the blanker for her father when she was able to see for the first time. Heard a lot of inspiring podcasts in this channel but hearing somebody with such a huge real life impact was just something else. Thank you Dr. Ruit sir for whatever you are doing. Maybe we be able to do 1 % of of what you've been doing. Thank youu.
Yeah, the Banu girl's story always manages to tear me up a little. Looks like Sanjay bro couldn't help it either. Just imagining the father feeling guilty and the love his daughter had for him despite all the hardships ❤
I went to Olangchungola 2 months ago as part of a trek to the Kanchanjunga Sanctuary. What a beautiful place it was. When Dr. talked about the village residing in the bank of Tamor and the 50-60 households near the Tibetan border, I could really relive the moment. I also got the chance to went on the house where the doctor grew up. A beautiful place where such genius was born.
If only words could describe how much I love and respect Dr. Ruit. Kudos to the living god of sight. World needs more people like him.❤️Hope to see Mr. Mahabir Pun in podcast in upcoming days.
This is a kind of episode that gives you happy tears. Such a great soul with great intention. Like you, may we be able to contribute to the world. Much love and respect ❤️
Dr. Sanduk, The living god, the light for the darkness, truly appreciating, respectful, motivating and the inspiring the youth like us. Thankyou Sanjay for this show really appreciated it.
I Knew more of Dr. Sanduk Ruit through his book written by Ali Gripper and translated in Nepali by Khagendra Sangroula, 2076 B.S first printed in Nepali. Highly recommend you all those who want to know more of this amazing personality.

thanks for this interview! I watched most of your interviews, keep it up 👍 !

Olangchunggola is one of the most remote village of Nepal. We, people in Morang used to refer our friends who don't know some regular stuff saying " talai yetti ni aaudaina, olangchunggola bata aayejasto nagarna " same like poeple in Kathmandu refers " Gau dekhi aako yestai ho ". Didn't know this place produced this legend. I read about him in "Antarmann ko yatra by Jagdish Ghimire" [must read book if you want to time travel to the history of Nepal through Jagdish Ghimire's life]. Dr. Sanduk is inspiration in all ways.
Just a suggestion to everyone watching, Please read the book "The Barefoot Surgeon: The Inspirational Story of Dr. Sanduk Ruit" by Ali Gripper, if you haven't already. It is such a great story written in a simple way. His journey is inspiring. #GodOfSight

Amazing work and so much respect .. I loved when he said the power of training can truly transform the world. I can’t imagine what he and his team must’ve battled through to establish Til Ganga eye hospital. Truly words fail us, A renowned eye surgeon in the world changed countless peoples lives. Sanjay dai & the team enjoyed the podcast, keep up the good work.
