@@Katelyn19-nk3fl ya 250 is a lot to spend I’m so glad teachers are being noticed. My mom was a teacher to. I’m still in school, but when I was younger you didn’t really do that
I got my teacher a thank you card and some flowers today as a thank you for putting up with my shinanigins for three years! It’s my senior year and I’ve always tried to do some small gifts for her!
As a teacher, you cannot go wrong with a Target gift card 💗. Thank you! Any gift card of any amount is a kind gesture. A genuinely kind note from you or your child (or a drawing if they are young) means a lot too. I make it a point each year to tape up on the wall near my desk kind notes I’ve received over the years from students and parents. Teaching is a tough job. It only seems to get more challenging because whatever society is going through shows up in the classroom.
I made a homemade Ziti for my kids' teachers for lunch. They all acted very thankful and even sent me pictures of empty plates, but I want to know if this was a good idea or not?
@@mama.danni.bell17 Sounds like it was delicious. I used to work at school where parents could sign up to bring potluck foods for us during teacher appreciation. We had lunch provided all week. It was delicious.
My mom is a teacher and she loves nothing more than school supplies as a gift! Like papers, pencils glue and crayons the things little ones go through like crazy
I’m a teacher. Gift cards are always so great but honestly I keep every little note and drawing my kids give me (middle schoolers have their moments) and really that’s all I need. Even if it’s an email or a remind text from a parent being like “thank you so much” it genuinely makes my day so so much better
I'm so glad you said that whatever sweet gift you gift them is plenty. I'm a single mom with 2 kids and I can barely afford any gifts so a drawing would be right in the budget.
I have a mom who’s a teacher and she would be happy to get a gift card and she would be equally as excited about a hand drawn picture or note it’s the thought that counts 💗
i texted my teacher a paragraph of how much she meant to me and all she did for me and she didnt respond for hours, it turns out she was crying from how much she impacted my life and didnt realize 💗
I went to my old middle school I went there last year since 7th grade now I’m a freshman to give one of my favorite teachers a teacher appreciation week card ❤
What I do is that I have a paper that says “here are a few of my favorite things” and it shows candy, snacks, drinks, places to eat. And I give it to the teachers, they fill it out and I now know what they like.
What are people talking about "teachers are so underappreciated and overlooked." They are way more appreciated than nurses, doctors, policemen... and these people are helping with are wellbeing. Teachers need to stop whining about "not getting enough attention."
❤❤❤❤ literally the same life 😂😂😂 ours was last week, but I waited a little bit because three out of four of her teachers are moms and I think the other one has an animal so it works to do both
When i was a kid we never did anything like this for our teachers because the PTA gave a gift to each teacher so its the same across the board and parents were told not to because it could be considered favortism
Just a warning. Scammers take the cards, record the info off of them, then put the cards back on the display. The customer pays for the card, activates, and before getting home, the money has been removed from the card. Some targets don't even put their cards on the display.
Be careful buying gift cards from target!! I used to work there and scams are VERY common with those gift cards. Make sure to ask for an amount receipt after u buy it and give it to the teachers so there is proof of the amount when they go buy things!! A huge reason why I left target I’d because they didn’t care to tell their customers and will not give u a refund!!
This is awesome! I work with low-income families and come from a family of teachers so thank you for sharing the fact that you don’t have to buy expensive gifts for teachers and that they appreciate anything and everything! Especially when there are multiple teachers to celebrate, it’s a great reminder for everyone that every gift is appreciated by teachers! I love your content and positivity!🥰
But teacher appreciation week is a few weeks before the end of school. Am I supposed to get a gift for teacher appreciation week and an end of school year gift a few weeks later?
Speaking as a former teacher, you don't need to get any gift at all! I never expected gifts, but it was sweet to get them. No, I would not get gifts for teacher appreciation week and the end of school. Most schools consider them one in the same. This week for teacher appreciation week, we got my daughter's teacher and aide each a gift, and got a gift for her morning bus driver as well. We are considering it all "end of year" gifts.
Wow just curious why your kids have so many teachers at such a young age? My daughter had one every year in elementary school. And once middle school hit I didn’t do gift cards as she didn’t love all her teachers. I felt the gift was a reflection of my child’s relationship with them. 💕💕
Preschool and daycares often have one or two "teachers of record" for the classroom, and then there are other teachers/aides who rotate in and out to provide coverage for teacher lunches, breaks etc. additionally there may be a music teacher, daycare director, or kitchen staff etc. I used to be a teacher, and in elementary, it's similar in that there is a teacher of record, and then kids go to special areas like music, art, PE, etc. I don't have the kind of money to get something for every person who comes in contact with my kid, so we just get small gifts for her teachers of record.
4 teachers for my son because he’s in before and after care because of my work hours. Same with my daughter and then my bff is a teacher so I got her a gift card too
10 teachers? In elementary school, we just have one teacher for each grade for the whole year. Until you’re in high school, then it’s only 4 teachers per semester for the year so I’m just confused as to why there’s 10 teachers to buy for lol
Teachers gifts past Preschool have got to stop. They get a paycheck and have access to supplies at school if they need things. Plus if you pay attention to where your money goes you pay into the public school system and that's more than enough.
I feel like all these videos are just because you are an “influencer “ if you weren’t and didn’t record yourself, would you still be doing things like this ?
No. Just absolutely not. If you aren't a teacher then you wouldn't know squat. Teachers are some of the most under-appreciated people in the working world. They have to deal with other people's bratty, snotty kids who have no discipline or structure as well as hateful disgusting parents. Plus to top that off they also are underpaid
Girl 25 dollars each is plenty.❤ you’re so sweet.❤❤
Right! That’s amazing.

Fave gift I ever got as a pre k teacher was a $20 bill tied to a nice hand sanitizer. Simple but appreciated.
This is honestly the perfect gift for teachers. They will likely use these gift cards to get classroom supplies.
Anything is ALWAYS appreciated ❤️ thank you 🙏
As a daycare worker who also has a teacher appreciation week,ANY gift is appreciated. It could literally just be one Hershey kiss
$25 per teacher is more than generous , that’s $250 you did Not Have to spend ❤

Can’t tell you how many donuts and muffins I ate this week lol
Yeah teachers are sometimes really underappreciated especially for what they have to put up with
As a former pre school teacher, they ALWAYS love gift cards! Especially to Starbucks or target!
AÀàa and
I'm so happy that you are just you and you don't try to be like everyone else 💖be different💖
In the uk you get end of year and Christmas if they’re lucky. The teachers don’t expect them but they appreciate it if you can.

250 is in all
Wow. You definitely do not have to give them more. I did the math. Total on all the gift card combined is $250 . Thats a lot of money.
Where I live the teachers are so rude and dont do anything for the kids...
They say the f word at the kids
That's so thoughtful
