- In this project, i made the snake game using 8x8 Matrix led display and Joystick.
Required elements :
1 x LED Matrix and driver
1 x Joystick
1 x Potentiometer
1 x Breadboard
Some jumper cables

@@johnallen596 i mean, like u always do, i used the right components and just imported the code. Thats all. :)
@@johnallen596 ah might be some issue on the software side then. Try reinstalling the ide and downloading the needed packages before transferring the program to Arduino.
this will help me make my own game console :)

How to invent new things in that project
The pins on my 8x8 led screen are not soldered, but they came loose with the screen and I had to press them into the board on 'IN'. I gave followed the instructions and the code seem to work fine, but the screen keeps flikkering and the game doesn't seem to work. Any help please?

can you use a 10k Potentiometer or does it have to be a higher value?
Actually, you can't. For optimal performance, I require a 100 k resistor, specifically a 40 k resistor is ideal. You can combine your 10 k resistor with additional resistors in series to achieve the desired 40 k resistance

hi i know that this is a month ago but if you are still intrested its called a MAX7219 which you'll have to buy it will come with its own matrix display which can be removed

Then, open the zip and move this to the library file of arduino
