    _____________
At the start of the 1990 season, experts predicted the White Sox would finish dead last, a sad farewell to historic Old Comiskey Park and its 80 years of baseball. Comiskey Park was known as the Baseball Palace of the World, and this would be its last season. Instead, the Sox battled the defending champion Oakland A's all year, making 1990 an electric final year at the old ballpark. This project will feature interviews with players, Comiskey employees, media, historians and more, as well as archival footage and home video from Comiskey Park.
This documentary was created with no intent to commercialize or seek profit, and is for entertainment purposes only. The project began as a hobby during the COVID-19 pandemic as the start of the 2020 baseball season was delayed. This documentary is made solely for the enjoyment and education of baseball fans. I feel the same way. So many great memories made there, with my Dad and Brother, in the 60s and 70s, up until the final weekend at Comiskey Park. I remember going to the final night game, with three generations of Chicago White Sox fans, my Dad, me and my brother, and my two nephews. Not a dry eye that final weekend. Memories that I will never forget, for the rest of my life.

3 part RUclips documentary on their final season there nice!
This 1990 White Sox team just out of nowhere exploded for a 94-68 record, one year after a 69-92 season.
Just 106 homers they hit on the year too, one of the worst in the league in hitting the long ball.
They mainly did it with stolen bases, pitching, and a boatload of one run games that helped Bobby Thigpen record 57 saves.
Bobby Thigpen was no question the MVP of that entire team!
