a true classic. During a live broadcast with Hurricane Andrew, he talked to a woman for at least 30 min during landfall in her house. He told her what the storm was doing, when to expect the worse, and when it would subside. Always a calming voice with instructions that probable saved her life. I will always remember that call. Class act!
Prayers 🙏❤️ for Florida friends from Texas ! Love you guys and be safe !
Thanks Texas!
He is a voice of reason. I remember listening to him on the radio throughout Andrew. He was a life saver.
Bryan Norcross, our Miami hero during hurricane Andrew. Thank you Bryan!
Thanks Bryan Norcross, great and professional weatherman. Know him from when I lived in Miami Beach back in the 90"s during hurricane Andrew.

I have a trauma bond with your voice ever since 1992 when hurricane Andrew hit the Homestead/Kendall area in South Florida. I was 9 months pregnant and the hospital wouldn’t allow me to shelter with my two baby girls, ages 2yr & 4yr, so we sheltered at home. When we lost power, our battery powered radio could only capture your broadcast. Your calmness, professionalism and knowledge about what was happening and what we could do to stay safe as our homes fell apart…was priceless. I spent the night in the bathtub with my girls distracting them with games and stories while silently praying..as your voice guided us through one of the most scariest experience in my life. My baby boy was born 10 days after the storm.
Thank you Bryan 🤍
@@Vuh_ne_suh wow
Yep... I was living up by the Miami airport, but worked in the strip-mall at 312th & US1. Came down on my Harley with a gas can on the back Monday afternoon (barely 14 hours after landfall) to check on co-workers, etc., but BOY... couldn't even tell where I was! EVERY landmark, including street signs, GONE.
Did you name the boy Andrew? 😃
I live in NC and my 2 worst experiences have been hurricane Fran (eye went right over Raleigh) and an unexpected EF-4 tornado that hit Raleigh at 1am on Monday after Thanksgiving that killed 4 people.
@@kentuckybowl-o-sticks Yes the destruction was devastating. 200mph wind gusts ain’t no joke. My girls still remember the howling of the wind, it was straight out of a horror film.
@@CarlVandenberg how horrible. I kept praying that we wouldn’t be hit with a tornado. I remember Bryan kept saying…if you hear what sounds like freight train, brace yourselves for a tornado. Longest night of my life
Thank you Brian! Awesome! I've been following you since way back "ANDREW", from Miami, Florida. You saved at that time my family, by telling us what to do. Thank you! Your detailed information helps to save lives. Thank you and God bless you!
Great coverage! Thanks for educating us on why this storm will be so bad!
We are Andrew survivors and have since moved to central Florida. Bryan, is the only person I listen to during these systems. He puts it in everyday language that is easy to understand. The most important thing is he does not hype things up.
thank you for not fear mongering you earned a sub. I get so nervous in storms and all of these wannabe weather channels extreme fear monger
Excellent reply. I got deleted putting that reply on lying crap weather channels
I love fear mongering it exposes those who are so gullible to anything said, I'm always pesamistic, so when they fear monger about a potential big storm I don't get my hopes up until I see it.
Thank you for your broadcast
He's definitely casting his weather spells very calmly.
I like him. I'm from Alabama.
Prayers from Lake City, Florida!
God Bless Florida went through Beryl in Texas stay Safe love you Florida
My friend's son works for FPL. Received his orders to help out restoring electricity. Stay safe everyone!
Great update Thanks
I live in Pinellas, Clearwater, it's non stop monsoon rain. We have a canal behind us and the beach is 5 miles from here. We continue to get storm surge warnings. Cross your fingers for us!!
Be safe ❤and prayers for all from Texas !
You'll be ok.
God's Wrath we all know all about how evil the Tampa bay area is 👽
Good Luck and stay safe, from Ft. Lauderdale. Looks like you'll be getting those strong rain bands all day which are moving right up the west coast. Hopefully they will change direction soon.
Stay strong Clearwater! Prayers from Ocala!
Andrew snapped pine trees in two around halfway up the trunk. Had to have been tornadoes but still. What a sight to see a near complete take down of those trees.
I love how he explains so much.
Thank you for the the thorough discussion
Excellent analysis. Thank you!
Excellent Reporting Brother Bryan😊❤
Gay comment😂😂

without sharpie lines how can anybody tell were this is going to go?
We need live coverage, a friend went to work because lack of accuracy, $$. Tampa area
THANK YOU BRYAN! I’m so worried about Tampa and Saint Pete pinellas county!!
dont worry its fine light rain as of 1pm here in holiday according to him its passing by and hardly feel a breeze its really nice out .
This nothing compared to Irma or Andrew. You'll be good.
We are on vacation in port st joe just west of apalachicola so hoping it heads east away. Everyone be safe!
Doesn't look like it.
Being a resident for 60 years.. park your car on a non flood zone near a mechanic shop and cover. Youll be fine. With clear overhead sky.
Wow, This thing is deepening! Absolutely Strong Cat 2 by Landfall!
Born and raised in florida. This nothing but another rainy day in florida. Yall need to relax
@@Jonathan-km8hw yeah everyone except where it makes landfall
That's what you say now.
Apparently you've never been through a Cat 1 in Tallahassee area. All the trees get caught up in each other and fall en masse. Not a pretty site. And not seen since 1985. Only the second one to hit right in this area during my lifetime.
Depends on where, because I'm reading people getting hit with scary stuff, and meanwhile it's a beautiful day where I'm located in South Florida.
It's actually cloudy hazy, but the Sun is shining strong through the haze and a very nice breeze
I live in Clearwater, FL
Moderate to heavy rain with some good gusts.
Expecting 6-8 inches of rain through tomorrow morning.

Just little Deb coming through.
@@martareitmajer like a snack cake

3rd day will be worst for flash flooding in North and South Carolina and Georgia.
All flights to the NY Area have been cancelled from MIA
I'm in Tampa. Prepped , ready and waiting for Debby. Avoiding tornado warnings so far.
@@williammanuel1303 yeah I’m in palm harbor just a few outer bands so far. no warnings yet tho
Be sure to wave as it goes by.
Stay safe 🙏

Heavy rain in clearwater rn. Not much wind
It’s feeding off of those warm ocean temps and not a lot of dry, upper level winds to keep it weak.
Gust wind picking up here in Brevard
Already knocked down the humidity 😅
Also funny, my now pet friendly shelter floods, my home 4' off ground and 147mph safe. I made sure on that above code
This storm has me concerned. Fortunately, I'm over 2000 miles away.
Bryan..Talk about the Gulf Stream and how it feeds the storm.
Come on God we need the free water but not the flooding thanks God🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
@@Doggiehoomanmom did you know that that emoji isn't praying hands it's actually a high five 🙏

Waiting to see if i have to work on clearwater beach tonight😂.
Will she hit Dallas?
Its just a little TS. Im surprised the cloud seeding hasn't intensified it yet. Weather manipulation
I remember when Bryan began his career in Miami at WPLG channel 10 when he worked for Walt Cronise. Does anyone remember Don Noe?
I live in the trees
Loves trees. They are strong.
🙏🙏Dear Tropical Storm Debby, please stay away from the Bonita Springs Cigar Shop until they've shipped my order.
I am not a meteorologist, but falling barometric pressure = bad weather/severe storms, rising barometric pressure = improving weather
30” of rain
Will this storm affect Virginia in any way?
So is going to rain?👻
why doesnt it just coninue North and not make a turn to the East??
Where is it going to hit land

What do homeless people do during this? That's concerning :(
Its going to NOLA…
All good storms end in NOLA…
Just wondering if a dei hire should have explained this....oh,no..forgot..the dei would be his supervisor...
I vote God's Wrath
Oh. My. God.
Look at that storm…
Definitely going to be a CAT 7 in four hours….
But unfortunately the catastrophic rainfall totals will be enough ammunition for the climate alarmists to point out that climate deniers are neanderthals. Good for blue team, bad for red team, and most Americans still believe there are two teams.
Brian Norcross thinks he knows sooooooo much about hurricanes, and I think he does too!
But, is the waffle house closing?
Florida must be in need of money , natural emergency for a tropical storm 😂
She has done nothing good
Hurricane Hunters/ Hurricane Intesifiers
So is "training" the term that they use around the world or is this some self proclaimed terminology created by a nerd without any scientific basis? thumbs down for a nerd
