I was one of the flickr photo comic pullip story people! I wrote out entire novels on there with photo series 😭 so cringe looking back like sims 2 machinima bad, but it was so much fun. Just so you know, those people (at least from my time) still exist they just usually keep to themselves now and do RP between each other. I don't personally, but I think it's so cool that dolls can inspire us to be so creative. I loved seeing your pullips! Paja is absolutely one of my favorites too and I'm so glad you two can bond together through pullips
Pullips are THE reason i collect dolls. I grew up with doll collecting adults, and i had dolls all my life, but it wasnt until Pullips came out that is starting collecting dolls myself. The eye mechanism and articulation was so game changing for me when they were first released. I will forever regret no buying Cosmic Mercury & Jupiter Pullips when they came out in 2006ish, for a measly $68 each! Cosmic Mercury will always be the one the that got away, and some day, i absolutely will get her, when the stars align.
This brings me back so much because Pullips are what brought me into doll collecting , I was also very young when I discovered them ! My first pullip was a custom one that was tbh pretty ugly (eyebrows drawn in pencil and eyelids painted in nail polish ) so recently I repainted her and it brought back my love for pullips .... I also loved the photography aspect of the community it was so fun !!
I think Pullips are SO cute, but my wife finds them creepy so the only 2 I will ever own are my stardust Cinnamoroll girl and my Moitie collab one. It's nice that I can enjoy them by seeing the ones other people have!
I MISS when Tuesday Morning had these dolls or just cool dolls in general 😭😭😭😭😭 I got a few of the Taeyang dolls, Dal dolls, and the tiny ones there 🥹 I even found MH dolls too. Like I got Elissabat for 10$!! I miss those days.
It’s great to see your Pullip collection. I’ve had many Pullip dolls over the years, I have about 7 now. My current favourites are the newest My Melody Pullip in both Lilac and Pink versions. I have the Carebear Pullip too, she is absolutely worth the money. I pay so much more than you as I am in the UK but I can’t stop buying them! I just wish Pullip would come with higher quality wigs. Some of them feel great, but the wig cap shows. Curly pullip wigs are so frustrating! 😂 If you want to find a new wig for Froggy, Pullip style sometimes carries wigs from Luts I think. Leekeworld is another great wig company, or ForMyDoll! I usually end up re-wigging my Pullips unless they’re hard to find a wig dupe for 🥰

The Hangry & Angry dolls are based on Japanese mascot characters. There was also a pop duo of the same name that was created to promote the brand, I used to listen to them a lot in the early 2010s, haha. Just sharing that info in case you didn't know!
Great to see your all’s Pullip collection. Like you, a chunk of my collection was during the Tuesday Morning days. I love the new care bear Pullips, as well. They are so beautiful. If I had to pick a favorite- I’d have to say either Akemi with the headphones or Kiyomi with the bunny hat or Nana Chan. 😻
The people commenting about dolls in bins are something else lol. I don't like putting them in bins either, but we can only have so much space, as much as it pains me xD If I were to have my cake, I'd get glass cases to set up along every single wall in the house lol!

i honestly scared for pullip’s future cus they have not been getting any media attention :/ many people only talk about the old pullip dolls, it seems like nobody really want to invest in the new ones. 😿i think the new ones they have are so much better!! Imo their makeup has really improve, i hope more people look into them. my favs are sumikkogurashi, möer, ACDC RAG emo, fluffy cotton candy. 🤍🤍🤍

I store a lot of my dolls in bins because I don't have the space to have them all out (since I also collect anime figures). I think the fabric probably went through dry rot, I’m not sure but the way it just seems to fall apart makes me think that’s what it is. Really sucks but it just happens to fabrics sometimes
Your poor snow miku 😭😭I have a Byul Paulia and her hair is also REALLY bad. I'll try fixing it eventually, but I'm still really grateful to have her because her outfit is precious and she's Sheep themed haha
I have 3 Pullip dolls in my collection, well actually they’re all Isul dolls but his name isn’t as recognizable. I have his Milk Tea, Hansel & Vesselle dolls. I honestly love all 3 of them and got each for around the same price range of $120-$145 or something? Milk Tea was used, but he usually goes for around $400 so I didn’t mind, he came in really great condition. I find the fashions he wears to really help inspire my own personal fashion style as a transmasc person. He looks so polite and dapper! I don’t know if I’m ever going to decide to add a 4th Isul to my collection, but if I do I’m going to make sure it’s only the designs I really want since they’re still up there in price. Now that I’m big into collecting both Rainbow and Shadow high I just don’t know if I’m going to stay loyal to collecting more Isul dolls. Sorry for rambling quite a bit, just happy to see the Pullip brand finally getting some more attention.
Great collection. It's too bad some of the clothes aren't holding up. Byul Romantic Queen's outfit is so good. I love how Pullip does lolita fashions and big dresses. I have about 6 Pullips and 1-2 of every other character. The pink-haired Akemi was my first girl and probably my favorite. The last Pullip I got was Eclata but I have been eyeing those Care Bears too. Back during the Tuesday Morning era I never found any in store, but amazon also had quite a few dolls for around those prices. I miss those days. Yes, quality can be iffy. My very first doll came with broken and missing accessories brand new, so I exchanged for one with a bad wig, loose joints, and thinner clothing fabric, so I sold that one and bought a 3rd version which was thankfully fine.
Pullip dolls are so cute, thank you for sharing your collection! I have a few, they cost about $300 each where i live with conversion, customs and shipping which makes them less attainable. I just have a few and i focus on the cat themed ones only because - cats :3 With the high cost, i do not buy all the ones i would like to have. GOD i adore so much about pullip family of dolls but im so scared of the bodies HFJDKSJFDS where I live, for some reason certain types of dolls just destroy themselves (I have never had a modern mattel doll last very long before all their limbs randomly break😔) even rubber bands dryrot within days.... maybe its the weather where I am? I gotta figure out how to control it better indoors orz BUT MAN I love their faces and the eye mechanisms and some of the doll designs are awesome, plus sometimes they have some really interesting media collaborations, like some of the most random characters will be made into a pullip! Every day I think longingly about the Isul dressed as Kazuya Kujo from Gosick.... someday, hopefully, he will be mine LOL

Very surprised for the amount of hot glue involved for a doll with such a high original retail. i think he was around 50, wish i'd picked up the alice in wonderland minis they had too.

Pullipstyle has the LOL Miku on sale right now, just FYI. ;) Pullips are awesome. I love the aesthetic and the customization opportunities. But I loathe their stock wig quality! Most of my dolls get rewigged. And their ankle joints are sooo delicate. I’ve broken a couple just removing the shoes. I’m really loving the newer dolls with the more unique eye chips and makeup. And their stock outfits are some of the best I’ve seen at this price point!
Volks have a Snow Miku outfit for Dollfie Dream up for order next week...it's on the international site, and I don't know if it will go to Volks USA...probably. I've had Pullip Moon and Pullip Savon through my hands at some point, but they're not for me. Look gorgeous, but I don't do anything with them when I have them. I was miserable because of a lot of things going on and major life stresses hitting at once but Austin was overall fine. I do not miss the traffic or the hipsters though LOL
Is it possible moths got to that disintegrating apron? I had some wool sweaters in my closet that got holes, but other clothes were okay. I think moths prefer wool and natural fibers.
