I’ve been taking Toprol XL and it gave me headaches eye pain light sensitivity floaters for the past 2 months.

I'm taking amitriptyline (anti depressed medicine) for 2 months and from this medicine my got dryes and I see starbursts vision halos and shadow of letter (double vision)
It's already been 5 months to get off with anti depression medicine and also Opthalmologist said my eyes are normal.

I have -10 and -9 in left and right eye my vision improved by 1 dioptre last year I also had lattice degeneration laser last year will my eyes keep reducing dioptre or not due to this ,I was using reducing lens method? please reply
Great question. There are many variables but if you continue to work on reducing your power, hopefully you will continue to see the power decrease. Best wishes!
@@visontherapy thanks also after lattice degenration I had a black shade in my lower periphery vision,where I had the laser and I also committed after it after few days doctor checked eyes and said that laser was successful though shady part doesn't bother my day to day experience is it ok?
Hi ive been on different ssri over last 2 years im now on duluxetine and i feel worse my visson is blurry dry eyes and stuggling to see my gp just tells me its not meds can i ask what you think please

Can antidepressants and benzodiazepines alter our vision ?
Yes, there are quite a few possible vision side effects from these medications.
