FOR THE LOVE OF TRAINING

  • It’s been a few weeks so this is a super quick update on what’s been going on and what’s to come. All good stuff. Stayed tuned for more training style vids - but kept very simple! Please let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like me to cover over the next few uploads. Training has gone down the roots where it started, still running a bit but mainly annoying all modalities of movement and exercise.
    Hope you are well and good.

    My diabetic Yorkshire Terrier Ziggy died in 2021 having spent the previous 8 years with the condition. It was very restrictive to have to inject him twice a day, no holidays abroad etc. But it was a privilege to look after him and Worth all the sacrifices and expense. Love your channel incidentally.

      That’s amazing, Ziggy sounds like a trooper .. I agree, it is really restrictive but you quickly adapt to it. Thanks John, appreciate the comments ..

    Even though I got interested in your channel for running, we should all be doing more strength and Conditioning work, so maybe the shift in content will encourage the likes of me to do more variety as well. Hope Rufus is getting on alright. Take care.

    What kind of split do you do or do you do full body training? And how often per week?

    • @movemorenowjames
      @movemorenowjames  28 дней назад

      So it depends but generally yes, full body splits but I do emphasise on on upper or lower each time - lots of kettlebell work too. I train 6/7 times a week but again, some are easy and some very hard … I will do a proper video soon as a few people have asked. How about yourself?

    • @steffenfelix8639
      @steffenfelix8639 28 дней назад +1

      Thank you for your answer. That sounds really good! I'm trying to get a structured routine again. Not easy with two kids. My current plan is three full-body workouts (kettlebell and calisthenics) and on the days in between sprints and trail running. What do you think of the structure?

    • @movemorenowjames
      @movemorenowjames  28 дней назад +1

      @steffenfelix8639 that sounds great … I would say to make sure you throw in some super easy sessions - like rucking or something . Do you have anything / goal in mind ?

    • @steffenfelix8639
      @steffenfelix8639 28 дней назад +1

      @@movemorenowjames You mean rucking instead of a sprint? Sounds plausible! My goal is to stay strong for my children/family. Building muscle is a nice side effect 😌 Your channel always gives me a lot of inspiration! 💪
