Today we have more than a reaction and analysis:
Can I figure out the game's story just hearing the soundtrack? Maybe... maybe not.... the only cetain thing is that the arrangement of this themes was exceptional!
This is merely for review, analysis, breakdown and constructive criticism purpose, I do not claim the audiovisual product I reacted to as my own.

I miss this game so freaking much. The characters, the amazing story, the music, the land of Fodlan, the emotions you feel each chapter as you go into battle; this game is a masterpiece and I’ll die on that hill.

umm the story is actually pretty bad in execution. The character are great but only in supports except the main lords

I mean you are pretty brainless if you call a game with mediocre gameplay, awful monastery section and mediocre story with an empty and bland continent that we barely experience with the same 5 maps over and over again, a masterpiece. Rhea was wasted as a character in the time skip, she doesn't exist in azure moon, she is an exposition bot in verdandt wind and in crimson flower she is a karen who screams "give me back my mother!". So how is the story a masterpiece?

also the land of fodland is awful. We have mountain of info and text about it, but we experience almost none of it in person. Only the same 2 cities and the monatsery, and a village or two. Remember petra in her paralogue going to brigid? It would be cool to.... nope, it's the same forest map from chapter 3 and other missions, cool. Hey petra went to brigid it would be cool to.... nope, petra came back to the monastery and we only hear her talk about her being back to brigid.... repeat that again, we almost never see fodlan, we only see the same 5 maps over and over again.

The light of the Azure Moon breaks through the White Clouds, as a single Crimson Flower stands against the Verdant Wind and casts Cindered Shadows on the Silver Snow.

This is the 2nd best game I ever played (preeeeetty close to the 1st). Surely the best OST. "The Edge of Dawn" (both opening and ending versions) is a song about one of the characters that plays a huge part in the game independent of the route you chose to take. I think it's really touching. There are some other exceptional tracks on this game, like "God Shattering Star" and "Apex of the World". There are also some great covers for "The Edge of Dawn", I love specially the metal version with Adriana Figueroa singing it.

Definitely the leitmotif for most of the OST is that original melody you hear often. Fire Emblem games tend to do that.
What happens is, you hear a familiar melody, but depending on the circumstances, and how the melody has been changed, you will feel a lot of things. Maybe happyness, sorrow, being at a loss, at a crossroads, at a dilema, among other things. It can be very effective to invoke this emotions.
Also, if you ever react to Shambala, please record it. 😂 That one is so different, and it comes out of the blue, it really catches you offguard during the game.

What kept me playing the fourth playthrough of the game to get the last ending... was the epic music. Your patreon has good tastes in choosing these songs. Three Houses has the highest play time game on my switch, my favorite Fire Emblem game, and the soundtrack was what moved it from a great game, to an exceptional game. It goes to show how a good soundtrack can really uplift a game. The composers are Takeru Kanazaki, Hiroki Morishita, and Rei Kondoh, to give them credit for the amazing music. My thoughts on the musics:
Edge of Dawn really hits when you have played through the story a few times, and you know the meaning behind the lyrics.
Fodlan Winds is one of the first battle songs you get, and to me it brings up a sense of wistfulness and longing for the adventure you're about to encounter and the things you are about to face. Its a song of anticipation. When you zone into the prologue and this theme rolls, its like, yes, lets go!
Blue sky's and a battle really hits, a brief stroll out and a battle with friends, what could go wrong?
Unfulfilled... well, you know when you get this one, 'are you a ghost too?' You got the theme of that one.
Chasing Daybreak. It just feels like, on the path to war that's the feeling I get from this one, but with a gentle feel of homesickness and looking back at the past. Like, you are chasing daybreak, but looking back over your shoulder to yesterday and the peaceful times then. Yup, that's the feeling I get with this one.
Indomitable will... bring forward the feeling of conflict, a clash of perspectives and ideologies. Love the little bit of Fodlan Winds in here, as if its fulfilling the longing for adventure
Between Heaven and Earth, compare to Blue Skys and a Battle. Since it is its thematic and story-wise sequel. Indeed there were consequences after this song... and the comparison between the two lead to the bittersweet tragedy and makes the song hit just hard.
The End - well it ended tragically for between 2 to 3 factions, depending on the playthrough. I've already commented on the lyrics.
I would have really loved to see you react to Shambhala, its just so different compared to the rest, though not really when you listen to the dubstep in Blue Skys and a Battle. Also it might be worthwhile to go see listen to the remixes of these songs they did for the three hopes game

I might be a little late but!! But i wanted to point out how the main song of the game (Seasons of Warfare) and the ending staff credits song (Edge of Dawn) have different lyrics :D!! Its a fun thing to notice.
Which also, fun fact, that ending credits song plays in all of the routes you choose for exception of one, which plays a different song at the credits. Its called the colors of sunrise, and this one has no lyrics, in comparison to its other ending song counterpart ^^!!! The reason behind it has spoilers, but its so interesting

I think I have a cool OST you could listen to it's the "Super Smash Bros Ultimate" OST this OST has over 1000 songs mostly songs from other games cause it is a crossover game, but some of the music are original and are even remixed! here is a few suggestions there's really only one song that is remixed that I recommend other than megalovania, so here are my top few suggestions
    1. "Lifelight" a Smash original and is the main theme of this game, it's a great song to analyze since it has a lot of lore for the story mode of the game called "World of Light" there even is a trailer for this amazing story mode.
2."Halland/Dalarna" another original song that is based on the Minecraft Dungeons camps known as Halland and Dalarna, but what is so significant about this song? Well the piano starts off with a good beat and then bam! the drums and guitar play as the stage darkens where this is played it turns to a mysterious piano song and then a solo! It is honestly one of my favorites, other than my number 1 favorite that I will talk about after this. There are two reasons I love this song, one is the song just slaps hard for a Minecraft song also not really Sakurai the guy who made the game didn't put the songs from Minecraft as they were too calm(yet he puts Environmental noises from Pikmin which is literal environmental noises.) and the other reason is that this will remind me of how Steve's trailer broke Twitter.
    3. this last and final song is a remix of one of my favorite games I play, known as "Mission mode" from Pikmin 3, it honestly slaps it starts out with a pretty quick beat, add in Pikmin noises and then goes on the guitar! and you can even hear the Pikmin singing along with this masterpiece, and the drums start to play, it's honestly one of my favorite songs that I could listen to every day. I also recommend looking in the Pikmin 4 OST there are some pretty good songs
this is another OST i highly recommend the game is known as "Splatoon" all I can tell you is that the music slaps.

If I had to rate the game on a 10 scale I'd give it a 7.
It was a lot of fun but I'm not too fond of how some routes were handled compared to others, having most of the playable cast is available from the beginning and how some classes that really shouldn't be genderlocked are again and some of them are made infinitely worse including my favorite, the hero class, really rubbed me the wrong way.
I still enjoyed the game don't get me wrong but I really don't see myself setting it as the best game of the series.
