Dear Uzig17, the error message identifies the problem as well as tells the solution. Normally, Stata sets the installation folder as its default folder. However, in windows, the system folders are protected and cannot be written to. Since asdoc writes its results to the current folder, therefore if the folder is not writable, it generates the stated error message. As a solution, you can create a folder on your PC and change the Stata folder with the command "cd". So if you made a directory with the name results in C drive, the folder path would be C:/results and to change the Stata current directory to this address, you shall type cd C:/results in the Stata command window and then press enter. After this, asdoc will work. I hope this helps.
