@@gifi11totally fair to give AJB and Smith a bid for best duo, they are both elite talents and producers. But with KOC at the helm I think it’s fair to say the Sons (JJ/JA/TJ) comprise the most potent offensive weapons corps in the league right now. The fact that they can observe trends in how the opposing defense adjusts to JJ in real-time and make adjustments from there is a cheat code.
Appreciate how humble Steve Smith is in this commentary. He's imo one of the best receivers in history, but also respects new receivers and their aspects in the game
Yeah, those guys are great, but this is Sam’s first year with JJ and JA, while Burrow has played for years with Chase and Higgins. QB/WR chemistry is huge and will only grow over the next few years
Yes, chase and Higgins definitely in the conversation, but they also have been playing a lot longer together with Joe Burrows then Darnold Jefferson & Addison. Give them that much time to grow together and it’s ballgame, competition is NADDA!
The key is Addison waiting just a tic to let the safety bite on Jefferson's In route. When I saw the replay of this route I laughed out loud! Great play design! Good luck with the HOF vote Steve!
Funny how former players always talk well about the Vikings, but talking heads who’ve never played a down shit on them constantly. Thanks Steve for being a real one!
Steve Smith has been my favorite non Viking WR since he cooked Fred Smoot after the Love Boat…. I said last year when the Vikings drafted Addison Minnesota became an immediate threat with Jefferson and Addison and here we are 14-2!!! Skol!!!
MN has top 3 in the league if not the best receiver core in football. We would have to also include RB's and TE's though. Not often you get 2 #1 wide receivers, an amazing TE and good usable backups with a couple RB's that can catch what it in their area.
What's really funny about this analysis is that they don't even mention Jones, Nailor, Hockenson, et al when discussing the Vikings passing game. The Minnesota Moving Company!
One of my favorite receivers of all time. I watch your stuff on the rookie receivers coming out in the draft. 9.5 times out of 10, you are correct on what they will be in the draft. You don't let the media scew your view on receivers.
Addison is the key to the Vikings going far in the playoffs. Anytime he gets 100+ yards, the Vikes got the W guranteed!!! What people dont understand is Addison is 1 in anynotjer system.
what i found awesome on that play is as soon as Addison whips JJ stops in his tracks and watches the play fold out like he KNEW they were scoring on that play.
Love the breakdown of KO. We have seen it since day 1 when he got there. With that, an offensive mind makes Brain Flores a perfect match for KO. I hope Coach Flores is compensated to stay.
Lesson of the day: “Route" and "rout" are homophones, meaning they sound similar but have different meanings: Route A way to get from one place to another, or a customary line of travel. For example, "The route we had planned took us right across Greece". Rout An overwhelming defeat, or to defeat someone or something decisively.
Jefferson and Addison are legitimate deep threats on any given play, then you throw in Jaylen Nailor who's considered the fastest of the three, this offense can do major damage against any defense.
Vikings haven’t even played their best game yet. DARNOLD and that offense are still building chemistry and continuity together, hasn’t even been a full season including playoffs, playing as a unit. Matchup nightmare for any defense , especially judging how much detroits defense was getting Swiss cheesed on Monday night going against a lesser receiving core.Lions are obviously a tough team dealing with injuries now and won the first match up earlier in the season, when Darnold was still learning his new teams tendencies . He’s way more polished now under center than he was in the first matchup.
sam darnolds best quality is his patience in the pocket he's marinoesqe in the ability to move around to buy a second for his wrs most of his int's this year is when he's scrambling and throws one up when pressured give him a throwing lane while set he's gonna burn your defense
A few things people still over looking with Addison 62 reception he missed 3 games and people over looking Jalen Speedy nailor with like 6 td most at least 20 yards or more he has as many touchdowns as some teams starters
great analysis as always. JJ and JA are arguably the best WR duo in the league right now.
Not arguably they are
The only argument I would take is from the Eagles, but of course, I'm going with Jettas and Free3
And then along with Nailor and Hockenson they got what's being called the "Four Norsemen of the Apocalypse"
@@KuhhmollyVikings fan here. I think that they’re tied with Jamar and Higgins.

Didnt notice how JJ was walkin like he knew that was a TD lmao
I hadn't seen that either! That's hilarious. JJ's like "We cooked them".

I knew Addison was smooth when he was drafted but he's very tough and strong too
Tough, strong, smooth, fast, quick, and just an overall baller. He was the man at USC the one season he was there
So much fun watching Jettas and Addison every week. Man they are both so dang good
when i was a kid , randy moss was my favorite WR , but i was only 5'9 so i modeled my game after steve smith. salute to you my goat , #skol
Best duo I seen in a while .real Super Bowl team
The young Randy and CC

easy... you keep both qbs. why not? JJ can sit as the backup. if Sam crumbles, put jj in. if not then you can train him up and trade him later. easy
