I was talking to my dad to buy bolero for city use and my friend was also going tomorrow morning to book XUV700 and ScorpioN to use it for business purposes but thankfully they are making a move to a different brand now, thanks for your video.
By the way I own a Volkswagen, and that's better than Mahindra.
I recently bought Venue even being the least power figures in the segment. People suggested me to go for nexon and xuv300. No doubt these products have better performance than Venue in terms of power but when it comes to after sales services, there is a drastic gap. At Hyundai service center the staff is keen to know about every problem and satisfies with the best of the solutions they can provide because they have a hierarchy of accountability and the ratings after every service is important to them. They never fail on delivering best services because of it.

Well, most of the times it is good but one time I had worst and unthinkable experience..
Hyundai service center stole my diesel around 20-25 lit.
I was lucky enough that before hand over of vehicle I took photographs of speedometer and when I received vehicle after servicing, I cross checked..
To my surprise, kms were reasonably same but fuel scale was 4-5 points down…
Upon asking CCTV footage, they got to know where matter is leading and can be escalated, they asked me to forgive them and refilled my tank with 25 lit diesel.

Brother i have tata harrier. Before owning a TATA i used to think that same. But after experiencing their after sale service, I must say they actually listen to you and they are very curious on getting the problems fixed professionally.

Yes Mahindra has very pathetic after salez service, they turn deaf and dumb when we face issues, I also own Scorpio N and my experience is same
In KIA service is better as they are new in the market but still they have sold 10 lakh total cars in 46 months in India & their service is still good. They listen to all problems and are very much concerned about customer satisfaction and customer’s feedback
This is what happened to me at Tata’s service centre. Luckily my car is 5 year old. So I got it serviced from outside from a good mechanic. Not buying Indian company car again. Other car is from Hyundai and after sales service is excellent

This all Indian, non-india, Chinese etc doesn't matter. We all deserve a quality product and after sales service for our hard earned money we spend. Go for something which offers both. I myself have been victim of Mahindra mess, that too before sale. I moved to MG Hector and it as an amazing decision, they had really good sales and service with a very good product.
Now a days ...the automobile companies launch the vehicles with a low price tag.....but actual game is by delay delivery of vehicles and charging a higher price at the time of delivery which is not advertised by them.....the agencies also charge extra premium for early delivery and they harass people who have booked vehicle and are waiting patiently.....very sad state of affairs....

This is the reason why people go for the Fortuner. Big Daddy bolne say kuch nahi hota. Fortuner is ruling this segment because their SUV'S are durable and reliable. They treat customers like a king. If you have that much money go for the Fortuner you will never regret your decision trust me!

Very painful & frustrating experience 😑..heard of it but yr practical experience has opened our (buyers) eyes to the reality. Luckily i considered Safari-2023 over XUV700 & using since 02 months in much comfort with machine as well as Service ❤
I am also waiting for the facelift safari which is due in November 2023. I am driving xuv 500 2021 model, and 700 is not so different from 500.

These Indian manufacturers have sold so many cars in a very short span and it is getting difficult for the existing service centres to cope up with the increasing number of cars coming in for service. I bought a Tata Nexon in 2019 and experienced good service from the Tata service centre near my house in Mumbai. However, from last year or so I have seen that waiting times have increased in the service centre and sourcing spare parts has also become a problem
Totally agree. Had to sell my 4 yr old, 30k kms run XUV500 because of same reason. Since 3 years they could not solve AC cooling problem. Everytime during service they try to sell unnecessary things like teflon coating, interior shampoo etc. at exhorbitant prices. They are least bothered to solve the actual customer problems.

Maruti Suzuki is best in all parameters, believe me i have owned Tata, honda, hyundai and maruti and of all these maruti is the best.
I had to wait for 6 hours for my first service to be done, which only took them less than 20 minutes. I totally agree with you that their customer service is bad. Seems like their success has become their arrogance, which is the beginning of end for any customer centred organisation. Your videos are usually very peppy and on the good side, and I feel they must have really tripped you badly for you to say those things for the car that you love so dearly. I hope you're able to get this resolved somehow.

Services for most of the car brands except Toyota takes whole day, we take our time out and spend the whole day in service centers.
@@salpar74 Sadly, that is true. The after sales service in India has a lot of opportunity area. When it comes to sales, most companies provide a very good experience (I'd like to quote MG), but to be honest, Mahindra did a poor job in that as well. They messed up my experience and I straightened it up at the highest level because I did not settle with mediocre services. The only good part about this exercise was that I got my car delivered in 1 month after booking (though it showed a year and half of waiting) ;)

Had a bad experience with booking thar in Mumbai nbs international andheri. I have so much proof ....including call recordings and chats..but it's a waste of time to go after shir companies. People are busy and have no time to indulge wasting time pursuing issues with Mahindra

There is an option in xuv700 you can try.... 2 options hain to reset trip after refuel yaa after every start

I have Tata Hexa and Ford Ecosport. Company india se jane k baad bhi Ford ki service etni zada acchi hai ki tata ki service se compare karke believe nahi hota. TATA Hexa No.1 lagti hai mujhe es segment ki but Tata ki service hadd se zada Ghatiya hai. Ye sab companies hume emotion sell krr rahe hain Make in india k name par enhe khud 1% fark nahi padta kisi se Fer TATA ho ya Mahindra.
I really feel sorry for u kaushik sir. I live in udaipur and was ready to buy 700 but my younger brother who lives in US told me the same regarding Mahindra services and I cancelled the plan of buying it

Definitely not a good experience. Sorry to see you like this. Even, with my Z4 4X4, I have this issue. And, I have been been ignorant about this issue. If you are taking any legal action against Mahindra, count me in. Issue chota ho yah bada, issue, issue hi hota. Mein shyad 10 baar toh ni, but 3 yah 4 baar toh gya hua, and usske baad laga ki inke bas ki nai hai isse theek karna. Mahindra should make a transparent open public portal, jahan sab issues (majorly faced by current owners) listed ho, and sab per progress kya hai mention ho. Kyonki ek service center ko yeh ni pta hota dusre center wale issue solve kaise kr rhe hai. Internal communication inka bekar hai. I can only expect normal service (engine oil change krna, yah fir normal kaam krna) from Mahindra Service. There is another issue in my car, a click sounds come while turning the car in low speed. Uska bhi koi issue ni hai. :) But usko bhi ignore kr dia hai maine after knowing it is not hurting the car. I would still say car is nice. But they should be more serious about the car. Issue agar solve ni ho parha, then they should tell us kab tak hoga. Even they ask 4 months or 6 months or 7 months, we wouldn't mind as these issues are not impacting the basic functionality of the car. Hopefully, Mahindra takes action against it. If legal action is planned, count me in. : )

Owning Scorpio or any indian brand car is more about sentiments but such incidents takes us back and forces us to think again. After Sales Service is something which our indian car manufacturers have to take it seriously.
