Abseloutly stunning film! We're headed to WNC to chase the native brookies up on the parkway. If your coming through the Carolina's let us know, we can possibly get you a 3wt built to donate to the cause! You inspired us to get going!
Went on a trip a few weekends ago and caught my first brown and rainbow. I’ve thought about fly fishing for a while but didn’t have the push to start. Now I’ve gotten started thanks to a buddy of mine giving me that push and what a totally new world. Caught my biggest rainbow the other day (still small compared to some of yalls) and can’t wait to catch many more!
I skipped so many classes fishing this very river and some of these very holes when I was in college. Man June was my own month of holiday on that river. Nice job and great video.
I found your channel via Trent Palmer’s channel. Good stuff, as a former Floridian who chased Tarpon all spring in the keys I loved your DIY Bahamas series. I use my plane to get into the Frank Church for Epic fishing even though I am located in Heber City. I am a neophyte compared to you, no dries for me as I am a euronymph guy… but your net system leaves a lot to be desired as in you are gonna lose a BIG fish one of these days reaching for and flipping your net over. Have fun and hope to see you on the river someday.
Imagine being so committed to creating and sharing that you prep-travel-seek water- stage every single shot-travel, eat, sleep and edit for days. I’m constantly inspired by you Scottie!
You know someone is a fishy dude when they schedule their wedding (and future anniversaries) during runoff!! Lol Great time management 😅 congrats Will.
Those are home riffles! If you time it perfect in the spring, you'll get to watch tiny browns smash small salmon flies for a week. Always thought it would be fun to do/watch a bs-henrys salmon fly film with the small stream and big water
Broooo I know that spot in Utah you fished I’ve been there a few times!! If you ever want to come back to that area I know some amazing spots in a river that’s near by.
Scottie! Would love to show you around my favorite water here in the northern part of Utah! Love the videos man, they inspire me to be the best fishing enthusiast I can be!
After a 5-year plus Hyannis from fly fishing getting back into it I've picked up my #1 rod and it's become my favorite to fish with. Here in a Pacific Northwest there's just a few spots that are ideal for it. And I'll tell you it's a joy fishing where nobody else really can ☺️
When will you guys come to Indiana and fish sugar creek or the white river for small mouth! Indiana has quality small mouth that can compete on a high level! Great videos and editing it top notch! 🤩
Might I suggest…… on a miss with a dry fly, stop, and look at your watch for 2 minutes. Do not cast for 2 minutes! It’s tough, but don’t cast. He will eat again…….
How about another gear dump one of these days? Seems like a loooong time since we've seen one. What rods are you fishing now, and what's your camera gear look like these days? Just curious.
Great video. Safety tip. With huge cfs flows like this, one slip on the bank and you're done. I wouldn't be fishing water like that without a PFD, and one with a high enough lbs flotation for turbulent flow.
Yo man WNC native living in Logan no idea how to get in touch but love BS and L couple other gems too. Would love to show you some honey holes. Roll neers
This man is the undiscovered Zach Bryan of fly fishing video's/filmography
I appreciate it! Been a huge fan of Zach since his early days.
Got-damn, this man is dropping new videos at a record setting pace, and the quality has remained tits throughout!
🤣 doing our best to get caught up on these films! Lots more in the editing rotation…

“You learn a lot about fishing when you’re not fishing”. Love that. Beyond true
Captured the peace of that stream well, even though the road was right there, it was peaceful.
Another excellent video production! Greatly appreciate your humility towards the fish.
Love to watch the work pay off. Well done man. The power of patience and observation can give way to stubborn and persistent.
Go Chiefs!
Nice Martin even better picking. Got a OOO Martin I love to take while fishing. Good work brother!
Man, It's always a pleasure watching your videos, thanks for sharing!✌️

I like the persistence at 17:12, keep trying until you get him, that's what FF is all about to me.
Love it! More guitar playing please.
Plenty more to come!

Good vid man. More solo trips please, unless the Phelps comes with😎
Beautiful country! Bummer about your broken rod. Thanks for the video
You know someone is a fishy dude when they schedule their wedding (and future anniversaries) during runoff!! Lol Great time management 😅 congrats Will.
Haha I’m not going to a wedding in Montana and not fishing 🤣
Interesting editing. You started with the foam caddis with the pack on. Caught the fish with the pack off. Netted it with pack on. Hmmmm
Went back to this stream and caught some nice brownies, so fun! Also beautifully shot film, thank you 🙏
Some of my favorite Utah waters ! Cool vid as always dont forget the salmon fly...

Your videos are getting better and better every day.

Loving the content. I want to go out and learn fly fishing now!
Sweet video, I’m going to the rivers this weekend can’t wait to can’t wait to finally get out there
One of these days I am going to run into you on a river in Utah.
Always a good day when there is a new wild fly vid

Good timing, bought my permit for a solo trip backpacking. Better late than never
You see little sas wearing your hat on Dan Soders podcast? Thought that was a cool ode to you!!
@@anthonypappalardo7737 yeah I did! Talked with Lil Sas a bit on IG. Maybe a future collab in the works 👀

A melancholic mood overshadowing this vid.
Thanks for the videos💯 they definitely keep me entertained and have helped me learn the art of fly fishing 💯

We’ve got a recent gear breakdown on our patreon page!

Sorry, I'm referring to that first stream in your video, in Montana.
This is so sick, definitely my favorite channel on RUclips!
Thanks brother!

Go mountains baby!
When people ask what my favorite tv show is
Umm it’s wild fly productions
Thanks for watching legend!
Are those pants a modern day wader?
they're not a wader per-say but they're quick-dry and my go to pants for wet wading in the warmer months.
What every happened to the short bus crew
You need to get to New Zealand and get connected to some serious lumps
I think the title be "Solo Dry Fly Fishing & Camping in Utah so I Can Make a Video for My RUclips Channel"

Love when new wild fly vids drop 😌

Some goods trouts just watching god creation best thing on earth
Is the Harker set up able to come off the truck? If so is it easy?
Yep, it’s just a couple bolts to screw off and then you can take it off no problem.
What brand of guitar strings do you use ?
What pants are you rocking in Utah?
Adopt me?
Why do people act so childish when they miss a strike or breaknoff a fish?
It's all part of the fun! Fishing brings us back to our childhood and acting dramatic when losing a fish is all part of it.
Please post more up to date content, this is from June… it’s September
We've been shooting/fishing hard all summer and these videos take a lot of time to edit. We're doing our best to catch up on editing!
Cool setup you got in your truck. Also, nice Martin it sounds really good.
Does Scotty not live in Utah anymore
I do
