I love this song! Twinkie's voice range is just amazing. It's mind boggling to hear her! Even sitting, she belts out every note with ease. Love you Twinkie!!!
Our church just isn't the same. I feel like we took these older leaders for granted. We don't know what we had. The conventions just don't feel anointed like this anymore.
My sister was the original lead singer in this song. The choir is Michael Scott & the Outreach Choir from Philadelphia. They were a young adult choir. The lead psalmist was Shavonne Edwards.
Beautiful.. Can you just imagine sharing a bond like this with your Mother/with your daughter just awesome..Their Mother worked hard at what she did..Their Mother knew her worth and passed it down to her children.. 1st lady was not gonna pay the bills..😉
I love ALL of the Clark Sisters (and Mother Mattie Moss Clark too) but Twinkie's voice has always moved me in a way that the rest of them couldnt. Its pure, its real, its authentic, its geninue. It takes a LOT to make me spechless but Twinkie in her PRIME could do just that to me. I just be in AWE of her ANNOINTED voice. Just effortless flat footed SANGING. Twinkie has never gotten her just due...she is THE CLARK SOUND IMO. Whew lord, now I wanna go to church somewhere LOL
I love this lady she keeps me going I have lost my mother and brother .sometimes I feel like giving up but when I hear her voice I keep going on . By the grace of Jesus
I know I was lile that with my Mother. Children are suppose to gather around your Mother in love and respect. And protect her like she did us while raising us.
They wrecked that song sitting down, reading the lyrics from a piece of paper. This has to be the original mic drop moment. And we acknowledge the simplicity of the lyrics.
Never saw this and it’s an instant Gem! I WISH this service was on an album as “COGIC musical department presents: #DrMattieMossClark’s farewell musical” #Twinkie was in FULL voice and shown so much affection to her mom during this event. #Priceless
The Movie didn't show that Twinkie was with her Mom 2 yrs before she passed in 1992....The movie made it look like they were astranged until Dr Mattie Moss Clark's passing in 1994
Mikey Williams not only cut...but fabricated. It’s a movie of course, but remember they pretended Twinkie had a breakdown because she wasn’t there for her mother...
Spirit-filled anointed women of God!!!! Icons in the realm of God; chosen and appointed by God. FAITHFUL SERVANT!!! They were appointed and never wavered. TO GOD BE GLORY!!!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽👏👏🙌🙌
Wow...to come across this live recording of this is indescribable! This song was written by one of Philly's finest organist the late Min. Kevin L. Wilkins, the original lead was Shavonne Edwards who transitioned about 2 weeks. You can hear the original version on the album Micheal Scott and the outreach choir!!
I praise God. I'm very grateful and appreciate the Lord for the talent we had in Cogic and the grace He gave us to produce such great talent. I dare not idealize the talent, but am greatful the God blessed us with such talent in times past.
@@copperbeardedking1919 so true, I had to learn to worship God in the way the Word says. It was HARD!! a lot of tears and self reflection. I'm thankful for the Holy Spirit teaching me how to serve God only.
I was there too. I wouldn't give it back. I loved it. I was in a horrible marriage and the church taught me how to be a wife to a man who was not good.
I mean...... I just dont know what to say. I have bee watching the clarks obssessively the past week and the older the videos get the MORE AMAZED I AM AT HOW GIFTED THEY ARE AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN. KAREN IS AN ALIEN BUT Kiki has such a voice like her phenomenal aunt Twinkie
Twinkie really is the best to me she knows exactly what to do like she gets her words from God. I love Karen to but she goes for the kill 98% it works but sometimes it doesn't and she dont have that sweet tone like Twinkie. I know I might get dragged but it's my opinion. Twinkie Clark is the Clark Sister..
At least my mom got a chance to see Dr. Mattie Moss Clark before her 57th birthday in 1992 the same year she passed two years before Dr. Mattie Moss Clark passed at the Holy Convocation of the COGIC in Memphis.
No disrespect, but why does this video look so ancient? 1992 was not THAT far back. They have footage on RUclips from the 1890s with clearer images🤷🏾♀️
Sometimes you end up in a good situation where you have footage that was originally high quality and made it through archive in an amenable format. As a general rule, the better our screens get the worse older videos will look.
Twinkies tone is so perfect… she’s singing like that seated 😩🙌🏾
The clarity in Twinkie’s voice
Those were the days, in cogic.
I love this song! Twinkie's voice range is just amazing. It's mind boggling to hear her! Even sitting, she belts out every note with ease. Love you Twinkie!!!
Twinkie's voice is so strong. It's off the chain!!

Thank you for the background info. It is a beautiful song.
Bless the Lord Arlisha!! Sharon needs is truly missed!!
Shavonne is truly missed!!
Mattie Moss was still giving God praise even up to her last 24 months on earth. Now she is in Heaven giving her praise.
Beautiful.. Can you just imagine sharing a bond like this with your Mother/with your daughter just awesome..Their Mother worked hard at what she did..Their Mother knew her worth and passed it down to her children.. 1st lady was not gonna pay the bills..😉
Are you even in this church and were you close enough to know what really went on?
I love ALL of the Clark Sisters (and Mother Mattie Moss Clark too) but Twinkie's voice has always moved me in a way that the rest of them couldnt. Its pure, its real, its authentic, its geninue. ❤️ Mattie Moss Clark voice. It is soooo smooth!!
And just like her girls Mattie’s voice grew and matured. Dr. Clark stood 10 toes down with Twink on this song!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!
Dr. Moss-Clark : Golden voice up until the end.
SING TWINKIE! MY GOD

Got me in my feelings
Unfortunately, those times are gone. These new parents started being their children's friends.
Sin crept into the church and the love of many have and are waxing cold.

The clark sisters along with the actresses in the movie said that a lot of things in the movie were cut out for timing
Mikey Williams not only cut...but fabricated. It’s a movie of course, but remember they pretended Twinkie had a breakdown because she wasn’t there for her mother...
Twinkie was still playing for Dr. Clark at the National Meetings right up until she passed.
It was really rushed too
M Chan it really was
