DIY Round Walnut Coffee Table from 1 SHEET of PLYWOOD [FREE PLANS]

- When my wife sent me an inspiration photo for our new coffee table I knew I had just the right material for the job. I recently purchased a sheet of 3/4" walnut veneered plywood and didn't end up using it. However, I was unsure if it would be enough for this job. After designing it and laying it all out, I knew it could work. Using some techniques I've picked up over the years I was able to make a 46" round coffee table from a single sheet of plywood and it turned out even better than her or I could have ever expected.

I couldn't believe 1 sheet to build that so I had to watch the whole thing..nice one! That walnut almost looks like white oak.
Thanks 👍
Nice work.... ❤
Beautiful. Goes to show how under appreciated good craftsmanship is when you see how much work goes into a piece like this.
Great build, love the design
Looks awesome, great job!
Great job! Beautiful table! 😎👍
Well done looks amazing!
Great simple build that looks fantastic!
Glad you like it!
Omg! So beautiful.
Great build!
Awesome and beautiful build!
Glad you like it
Wow what a great project! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
That looks incredible, great job!
Thanks!
Great looking table! And such an efficient use of material too. Well done.
Thank you very much!
Great idea. A very long lasting Beautiful table. Others may disagree but I believe its better and cheaper then useing soild wood! Thanks for the idea and plans.
Thank you! Agreed. Cheaper, more stable, and more even and consistent grain pattern
Plywood is more stable for sure. Don’t have to worry about cracks due to lateral expansion. Some people don’t like the edges of Baltic birch ply staying exposed in the final project, but I do.
Beautiful table. Great work
Thank you very much!
Very nicely done, love the finish
Thank you very much!
Awesome! Great project
Thank you!
WOW that was a very nice coffee table....great job.
Thanks so much!
I love it!
Thank you!
Awesome build man! Putting a slab of plywood to use. May be trying this myself. You earned a sub!
nice build. thanks
beautiful
Not that I'm qualified to give you any pointers but I've been using a heat gun and a roller to do my edge banding and find it really works well. I also add a little extra wood glue too.
Very nice
Youre bad ass…love your vids brother
I would love to learn how exactly you made those coffee table legs, but the video on the legs have to slow. Awesome.
Thanks, Benny.
VERY VERY NICE BUILDT
Thanks!
Good job
Thanks
LoveIt
Bro. Dope
Thanks man!
Nice
Can u plez give me dimensions and degrees of angle
Really nice work! Curious if one sheet was a design constraint or the table you wanted happen to be that size?
I would have loved to see how you make and screw the legs in a slow motion. I like how you did the legs.
Thank you.
Simple yet very nice looking!!! Besides the table what color did you use for the walls in the shop
Very nice!! Nothing better then walnut and a natural finish. Where do you get your edge banding from?
Thanks! I got the banding off Amazon
Preciosa 😍😍😍
thanks. Can you mention the angle you used on the top and bottom
Cool table! If you have a Forman why use the fiddly jig system?
Gorgeous!!! Which furniture wax did you use?
Great job from Brooklyn NY coffee table looks the beautiful are you sale it 🙂
Might be a silly question but I’m the cut list you have 4 @ 19 1/4 and 8 @ 19 3/4. Yet in the assembly instructions you have 8 @ 19 1/4 doubled up for the legs. It might be a typo or I’m just reading it wrong. Which do I need 8 of?
Cool table! Might want to consider using more glue. Some joints were pretty starved
Thanks
What do you do about the edge banding seam on the table top? Just leave it as a seam?
Looks nice. Are you using it and are there any moisture problems?
Thanks! We do use it and no moisture problems. 2 coats of wax should do the trick for some time.
Is bamboo a good desk surface?
Looks awesome! What angle are the legs cut at?
Thanks! The legs are cut at 25 degrees
7:03. Yikes! Barefoot in the shop…an ER visit waiting to happen.🤭
Does wood glue stick to laminate?
if u rough up the laminate with sandpaper sure
It’s a great project but I would definitely use hardwood or any real wood instead of using engineered wood. But again the plan and the idea is great.
Thanks
For sure but edge tape and a sheet of plywood is 200$ can't go wrong there
