Good job🎉 FYI at 23:30 that "haze and dust" is sand from the Sahara which also travels the Trade Winds and all the way to South america and nourishing the amazon rainforest with minerals or it wouldn't have become what is is🙏🌿
I’m nearly at the end of a 3 week binge watching session from the start when you brought the boat you have come so far really enjoying these last few episodes 👍👍🙏🇬🇧
I just mentioned to Jase last night that you’re only about two episodes behind now! 😆 thanks so much for binging and we’re really glad you’ve enjoyed ☺️ cheers 🫶🏼
Incredibly beautiful also when your waking up. Wow very fortunate Capt. and tough job because of your chant allures anybody to abandon ship responsabilities. OsoYolo.
Another great episode guys ‼️ 🎉 Bummer on all the roley conditions, yet good you gave the bridle strategy a go👍🏻💪🏻 Always works. See you next time. ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
All the Canary Islands have their own 'look and feel'. From volcanic black to sub-tropical green. (I think Lanzarote is breathtaking btw). Worth a (re)visit one day.
Yeah wild hey! We've had it really bad in Malta before too and the boat was filthy but we weren't out sailing in it at the time. It cleared up pretty quickly from memory, the following day it was like nothing had happened
Amazing 😍 such a cool set of islands!! Not amazing for anchorages to be honest so maybe expect to stay in some Marina’s to be comfortable when it’s rolly
Yeah I believe you, crazy hey! Someone else said it reaches the Amazon in South America which is just wild! But apparently it nourishes it with minerals which is why the Forrest is so incredible!
Hey. If you ever run over line, nets etc and they are caught on the prop or shaft. Make sure you pull everything onboard that you can. Pull as tight as you can and cleat off. Can even use the winches to pull and keep pulling as you put into gear. That is if you have to put in gear before diving. Usually this will cut/break the line. With any luck you’ll be free. Putting into gear without tying off will just allow it all to get pulled into the prop.
Nice video guys. Glad you made it to the Canary's. I hear they are known for the red Sahara sand blowing in and you've witnessed it. How bad was the clean up I don't think you mentioned that. I understand it's a hit and miss with the anchorages due to the rolly water's. Well you now can stack up for you crossing at Las Palmas. Looking forward to next video
It actually didn’t really make a mess and I do not know how because it was so bad! We’ve had a big mess to clean up a few times in the med, in Malta was the absolute worst!! I guess it’s so close to the Sahara there. We sure can 😍 cheers
Yeah they both have a few times 😅 we do keep a solid eye on them and are always checking where they are. Although they’re settling down a lot as they grow up and don’t run around The boat as crazily as they used. We hope nothing ever happens to them and they live a long life, we’ll be heart broken if it does. People definitely do sail with dogs, it’s more work though as they usually have to take them land regularly to go to the toilet and import procedures are a little more strict for dogs
@@LeadingtheEscapade Thanks. I've heard of people training their dogs to do their business on board, but that seems unusual to me. Cats, at least would provide the helpful "third party" on board. I can't believe you crossed the Atlantic! It would be my second biggest fear.
Thank You ☺️ We usually wear our life-jackets when night sailing or if we're off-shore and it's not very calm. Other than that we don't wear them as they can get a little uncomfortable and they're inserted inside our life jackets
Just had a look unfortunately we missed that area as we didn’t have suitable weather and there’s only protected anchorages in one area. Our episodes are behind so were unfortunately not there any longer but would love to go back to canaries one day. Loved it!
We bought it on Amazon ☺️ the little hut one is called WIND-RACING (a natural way of life is the slogan) it’s such a beautiful little bed. It’s cool as you can actually squish down the top and pop the interior cushion ontop, to make a normal bed out of it too!
Hola chicos, mí curiosidad además de la belleza de la protagonista, me gustaría saber cómo se llaman esas dos cosas peludas adorables . Gracias un saludo cordial de un marinero jubilado, que suele navegar con ustedes.
Oh no you didn’t enjoy it? 😅 I guess a lot of tree’s maybe wouldn’t grow there due to the Barron landscapers that get hit by trade winds on one side of all the islands, however I know half of two of the islands have lush rainforests on them including I believe Tenerife
Thanks again from Kentucky ✌️😎
Them 'nap buddies 'are the best. Their purr puts you right to sleep 😻
Beati voi!
Wonderful adventure… love following your journey. ❤
I enjoy watching your sailing adventures. Thank you.
We enjoy the videos. Thank you!
Another great episode guys, fair winds and calm seas
Glad you guys are having a good sail after all the worrying about going. Stay safe.
Glad to see you made it to the Canaries, looking forward to your arrival in the Bahamas/Caribbean. Best of luck. L9ve your videos.
Thanks so much!
The sunset from the restaurant through the marina was stunning!!!
Great episode! Your cats are characters. ❤.
Good progress guys . Good luck
Always enjoy watching your programming thank you!

Yeah it sure is! So crazy hey! Wow that’s so cool I did not know that about the Amazon! How incredible is that 😮 thanks for the info ☺️
Making memories for a lifetime ❤️🌏
Enjoying catching up, after missing a bunch of episodes. ✌️🤟

Hahha you're 100% right! Thanks so much, cheers
Great to see the Subs are starting to get up there, well deserved.
Oh thanks so much 🥰

Incredible!! Would love to go back and spend a couple of months exploring the rest 😍
good stuff!
The dust is crazy!

Starting research on sailing to the Canaries. Currently in Southern Brittany

The sand sometimes reaches England, hard to believe but I have seen twice now. Enjoyed your video at 1440p, best of to you both 🙂

Almost SV Lemonde levels of partying going on at the start of this one... Almost 😄
Hahaha I was totally waiting for a comment like this! both couples are very bad influences 😜
@@LeadingtheEscapade Maybe you two are a soft target 😁

Oh cool thanks so much for the tips, this will certainly come in handy next time it happens, which it will 😅 it’s only a matter of time 😂

Ate at that Indian restaurant in December, food was amazing!
Oh such a beautiful restaurant too hey 😍
Has a cat ever fallen in? Could you also sail with dogs?

Another great episode! Just wondering do you guys have a boat rule about when you wear pfd’s?
Thank You ☺️ We usually wear our life-jackets when night sailing or if we're off-shore and it's not very calm. Other than that we don't wear them as they can get a little uncomfortable and they're inserted inside our life jackets
Top, do you plan to sail to Corralejo?
I’ve never heard of this. I shall look it up 😆

😀😀👍👍👍❤
The water temperature: 15 degrees Celsius is 59 degrees Fahrenheit. burrrrrr

It's a shame that on the way to the Canaries, you didn't stop at the Madeira Archipelago. A green pearl in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Ah yesss I would've absolutely loved to! If we had stayed in the med another season we would've done Madeira for sure, and maybe even the Azores!
Another epic video! Looking forward to the next one.
:)
Yes we used to go on terrible holidays there its the most barren looking place ever.👎🏻 plants some bloody trees canaries.
