- In this new video we transform an unusual species that can make into beautiful bonsai. Blue atlas cedar-Cedrus atlantica 'glauca'. This tree lost some lower branches and need a proper restyle to get back in shape. Branches selection is the key to set the new bones for the future. The team work speed up the creative and executive project. Thank you for following this video and subscribing to the channel for more contents!!!

Another marvelous transformation! Lovely!
Very creative design concept and great technical wiring technique.
I found you because I was looking for Blue Atlas Cedar bonsai content. Glad I did. Beautiful work on this tough tree.
Excellent Mauro as always, I have a lovely ( raw material ) blue atlas cedar, your example is greatly appreciated, thank you :-)
Muy buen trabajo Mauro enhorabuena
Amazing tree and great video. Thanks and all the best from the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Straordinario! Complimenti
Awesome tree! Happy to see a Ceder!
For me, is not simple set and done. For you, is like walk in the park.😊 magnificent.
I look secure but sometimes is challenging 😊
Stunning creation Mauro. When you started out, I couldn't see where you were going with this tree but the end result is quite brilliant.
Nice work Mauro! hope to see you next year at The Bonsai Shack. Stay well and be safe
Our Great Master work ❤❤❤ love from Nepal ❤
Bagus sekali
Bellissimo video come sempre Mauro!
Grazie mille caro sei sempre molto gentile
You have magical hands ❤
L'arbre est magnifique 👏
Brilliant!
Saved that poor tree.
Top come sempre!
Bravo, Maestro and student.
Very well done always a pleasure watching you work .
Very well explained on what was going to happen in the redesign of this tree. Then details shown as you progressed. Excellent video. Thank you
Superb video
After seeing the end result I had to go back and just see how amazing that transformation was
Loved the transformation. Genius, as always
Grazie!
Great result Mauro. 👍
Beautiful !
Great work Mauro - just what I need as I have a similar very large, problematic cedar. two questions : 1. Is branch splitting advisable on thick cedar branches and 2. Is there any way of pushing foliage back on the blue cedar?
hello jef watch Ryan neils demo on spruce tree he will show you on branch splitting
Lindo trabalho, Maestro. Parabéns. 😊
you never dissatisfied me with your transformation. To be honest, you are number 1. thank you as always
I try my best everytime . Thank you for the support
Awesome awesome work. I don’t have a blue atlas, I think I would like one now. The short needles really lend themselves to bonsai. Thank you Mario!
Great channel 👍🪴
Maurice is a fantastic tree artist 😎Dennis
Beautiful Cedar.
I love your creations!
It’s also very relaxing to watch your video’s
Simple and elegant. Perfecto! ❤
amazing transformation!
You started with what was less than desirable material and something I would have never looked twice at to even think of having in my collection and you turned it into a beautiful work of art. You are a true master
I envy these people. I have been doing (flailing at) bonsai for 4 years and am still very much a beginner. I'm not artistic or creative but I have fun and I think I'm getting better over time but seeing these guys looking at a tree and transforming it blows my mind haha
Thank you guys for watching the video my intention is also trying to inspire people to work and try and dream
Sei un mago
Enhorabuena 😮
Great transformation again! And great explanation ❤ thank you
Very good and beautiful final result... but in my opinion, now this tree looks much more like a pine than a cedar...
AMAZING🎉❤😊
Beautiful, great explanation, gracie
Grazie
Fantastic transformation Mauro. Good lesson on interpad separation which adds to the miniature look of the tree.
Great work!
Very good...
That’s a fantastic looking tree fella great work my friend
Just subscribed 👍👍
Great!
Very nice tree. This video inspired an idea for one of my trees. Thank you!
Bagus master
Meraviglioso vorrei tanto avere esemplari così ne mio giardino ❤
Transformed,!.
bellissimo
SHOW desde Belo Horizonte Minas Gerais Brasil 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Mauro, what type of pot and colour pot do you see the tree in in the future? Another great transformation.
I would go for a round namban not glazed and kind of rough
👍👌🙂
Very nice! I was concerned about the tilting apex at the beginning but the asymmetrical balance you achieved came out looking very natural. I have a Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Boulevard' that I handled in a very similar way because it was lacking lower branches in the ideal positions.
Yes I was not sure too but it was the right decision 🎉
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great demo love the way the tree came out. I feel these trees are underappreciated or not used soo much in bonsai but they have such a great cloud like appearance and foliage. Do u prune colorado blue spruce the same way?
Yes pinch the dominant outer growth
@@MauroStemberger thank u
hey pal happy new year l , always enjoy watching you work, and learn, how long was this tree in the pot before you started working on it.
You could never talk too much in my opinion. 😅
Godo job
Mauro, sorry for so many questions, but can I ask what the tool is that your assistant is using at 7:02 and what is the black you have wrapped on top of the raffia at 11:15 please?
That bark tool is a rudyban . Send me an email if you want one
Stemberger@libero.it
Just normal plastic tape on top of the rafia
Beatiful transformation! Well done! What did you use the drill for?
He probably put in a screw to serve as an anchor for a guy wire.
Lei puo confortare i miei dubbi in merito?
To talk like this guya, you just add the letter A to the end of every last word in each sentenca
