Jimin tends to down play a lot of his talents and yet his emotional intelligence is off the charts. I appreciate Jimin for the beautiful and kind person he is.👏👏👏
He isn't downplaying his talents, did you even watch the video😭 do you think someone who repeatedly say "my role model is myself, i love myself" downplays his own talent. He actually acknowledges his talents by saying "i can do better than this, this isn't enough" because if you don't believe in yourself then how will you think you can do better😭
he's just really humble while at the same time always trying to progress. That combination is what makes him constantly deflect praises or not dwell on the praises because it's really very, very easy to let one's self be drowned by the constant praises and adoration so Jimin obviously avoids that. During his Vogue interview, it was asked how Jimin felt about his solo songs breaking records and he just said "I should say i will work harder". That reflects what kind of mentality he has when faced with success, he'd rather think of working harder😭
@@cherriesforjm9145 I did watch. I already know about his academic studies and martial.arts. Watching him come up with the concept for his merchandise and the process behind it was really interessting. Yes, he is humble and I know he is a very hard worker but Jimin has earned all the accolades showered on him and deserves to shine like any other members does. I tend to find that if you praise Jimin, then the hateful.comments start. Now they are doing solo activities., I'm looking forward to his projects.
@@justice7071 he is shining, he's literally the reason why many became army and SK media dubbed him "stan attractor". It's why that big hit ex-trainee said Jimin is the reason why many became bts fans. They like Jimin first then later the other members. Obviously because he shines that's why he's noticed first. People should learn that being humble and always saying "i can do better" is not Jimin downplaying himself, that's just him being perfectionist. He has no problem praising himself, literally he brings up moments like when he went viral as Orange Haired Guy in Perfect Man or say that other members learned from him. He just knows the right timing of when to verbally acknowledge his achievements (when in lighthearted situations like bts run or relax atmosphere) and when to emphasize that he wants to be better (when in interviews and talking about something serious in vlives).

Our beautiful Jimin, inside and out. This MV showed it the best, we're not perfect, and neither is he, but he uses what he has to the best of his ability and is so genuine and loving, that we can relate. The minor mistake made at the UN just made me love him more, for it made it okay to make mistakes, just do your best and carry on and that is the best thing you can tell anyone. When Jimin said “even something intended to be consoling can make someone feel even worse” hit me.
Like when people tell me “just try your best” or “you can do better” those words don’t comfort me but makes me feel less capable…why…because I’m already doing the best I can, how much better does it need to be when I’m giving it my all, so I leave it instead but people will just keep saying that to me so I don’t give up but if my all isn’t high to it’s standard then it isn’t for me. So when he said that I couldn’t agree more.

Jimin was the first BTS member I met. His live performance of "LIE" was pushed to me by RUclips, as I was an avid fan of dance videos. But, Jimin's performance, (dance & vocals), made me want to know who he was. That's when I dropped into the BTS rabbit hole. Jimin is my bias because of all those things mentioned in the video. I believe that each BTS member has these same qualities. How BANG PD got these 7 (boys) together is a mystery. They seem to share one brain cell when it comes to being great, caring, kind human beings. Each of them brings something to the table. It always amazes me to think that Jimin almost didn't make it into the group BECAUSE of his dancing. It wasn't up to par? I don't get it. Maybe the videos where I saw this piece of information was missing something; or, maybe I just misunderstood. I cannot wait for Jimin's album. I hope it includes MVs with his dancing skills on full display. I am SURE it's going to be GREAT! Thank you for this video.
It wasn't because of dance, he was given free lessons at a dance academy (for being that good), he was the top dance student in Busan Art School + debuted as main dancer, so that negates this fanspread misconception. Most probably it was because he had the least amount of time to prepare and adapt as an idol before debut. Most idols train for years. But with amazing self confidence, determination, focus and hard work he made it in less than a year.
That just shows how exceptional he is!

Jimin is everything💕.. he is my ultimate bias when I become an army 💜 💜 when my niece ask me if I know K-pop i really don't know what kpop is, i watch kdrama only and I have no idea about kpop. One day I listened songs in youtube and i accidentally played na color coded BTS song Boy with luv i really don't know it was korean lyrics i thought it is english then when I heard the first member singing i really love the voice that I thought it was a girl then i read their names to know who's singing that part. Then I started being curious of who is BTS im 41 years old and 21monts army, a baby army like they said. but as suga said it's not important when I'm not with them when they debuted,, just keep in mind that the day you found BTS that was the day their debuted for you 🙂 i really love this 7 precious human being the lyrics of their songs captivating my heart 💕
