The Hal Sparks Radio Program Mega-Worldwide brought me here...I vaguely remember this show--specifically counting the coins--would've been 9 or 10 years old.
This is the 3rd episode of the American "Treasure Mall" program (this episode is aired June 25, 1988) and today's two teams are Kimberly & Matt and Shannon & Eric. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲
Lillymay Parker Not sure what # the episode would be but it would feature brother and sister (Kevin and Christina) going up against some brother sister team. I remember I was a spaz making weird popping sounds with my mouth and fidgeting with the goggles. I mentioned the violent R rated film Red Dawn after a Jennifer Grey question. We beat the other team but didn’t get the End Prize trip to Santa Barbara. Ended up with a Ping Pong table and a typewriter. Anyways if you find it my daughter who is now the age I was when I went on the show can laugh her ass off at me. Haha
Treasure Mall was Distributed by Access Syndication Distributors of Slime Time w/Marty Cohen of SOLID GOLD, DC Follies and Beverly Hills Teens This series was also Co-Produced by Fielder-Berlin Productions the Co-Producers of Wordplay with Tom Kennedy (Co-Produced by Scotti Bros.-Syd Vinnedge Television of America's Top 10), Trump Card (Co-Produced by Telepictures Productions and Warner Bros. Television) and Interactive Versions of Boggle, Shuffle, JUMBLE and Trivial Pursuit Hosted and Produced by Wink Martindale Saban Productions Co-Producers of I'm Telling, Couch Potatoes, Maple Town, Noozles, Wowzer, Kidd Video, Camp Candy, The All-New Captain Kangaroo, Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Masked Rider, Big Bad Beetleborgs and of course, X-Men
And both Treasure Mall and Slime Time were taped at KCOP/Chris Craft Studios in LA. Although, if they had the budget with some more room, they should've either taped at Hollywood Center Studios or CBS Studio Center.
@Lillymay Parker The purpose of my comment was not to highlight the frequency of reused ideas. I was saying the combination of ideas was odd and interesting. So maybe you could try and not come at people for no fucking reason.

It doesn’t surprise me at all why this show was short lived. This is noting more than a cheap knock off of Finders Keepers
This show is a rip off! Of Double Dare and Legends of the hidden temple... with a little bit of Shop till You Drop sprinkled in. It's weird.
