- June 29th, 2020 was the first night of the week-long Macy’s July 4th Fireworks Show, “reimagined” as the department store states, for the year of the coronavirus pandemic. @@AEON. Too bad Trump is an unmitigated A##hole. He never served in the military; why are veterans even enamored of him? His 4 student deferments were at least legitimate, but when he ran out of those he used a bogus medical condition ... bone spur on one heel ... to avoid any possible future service. Worst of all, he collaborates and appeases totalitarian regimes that actively hate the U.S.

Fireworks are not necessary to do bcuz of its unhealthy results. Not good for the environment. There are other healthy ways to celebrate.
Oh relax. While fireworks do harm the environment. Its not to the extent of other issues such as coal for energy. A one time a year firework show is not going to do much.
