I would definitely be treating it like glass as well, certainly a rare find! I rarely even see books in stores when I go thrifting , so to actually find one and have it be vintage on top of that… wow! 🤩 I can’t wait to see your vintage book collection in person!

Haha! I was telling Amanda, I didn't know how well this video was going to perform, but I put it up anyways because it's interesting to me 🤷♀️ lol. And that book is my favorite! I love when theirs a story with an item so the writing inside the book (minus the mathing lol) makes it even more cool!

The crystal "cup" could be a sugar bowl but I think it is more likely what is called a spooner. A container to hold teaspoons. I have a wonderful variety of those!

The old books are really cool to have and collect. I collect old books and anytime I can find them (especially for 50cents!!!!) you have to get it. They make great displays for the house. Looking forward to seeing the completed look. How’s the scary faces reaction video going? 🫣🧟♀️🧟♂️
The old books are so very cool! I've definitely become a collector lol. I plan on reading some, but probably won't be reading the really old one because it's in such a fragile state and I'm scared I'm going to ruin it more lol. And hopefully I will have that up next weekend! It's something I'll be doing all year. I just haven't had the chance to record it because of other videos I had to record first and my son needs to be with his Dad while I watch them LOL.
I just stumbled on your posts after literally saying to myself it would sure be nice if somebody did a thrifting RUclips in my neck of the woods. You are about an hour and a half from me. Hidden Treasures is my favorite thrift store and Sleeping Tiger is always paranoid like that and they probably would have flipped out on you if they caught you recording. I rarely like shopping there because every shelf has an ask for help sign like they dont want you to touch anything. If you haven't been there yet I think you would like Blessed Be Tea and Apothecary on Front St and to Wilson's Antiques on Union Street. Higher Self on Front street has a good selection of crystals and wont harass you as bad as Sleeping Tiger does.

That's so crazy that you're so close 😱 And I don't go into Tiger Imports very often because they are so pricey, but I was not vibing with the employee who was working there. I almost think she was the owner, but I really couldn't say for sure. When I went to pay for my stuff she held out her hand for the money before I even had my wallet out 😑 I haven't been back there since i posted this video and probably won't go back in there because my last experience wasn't a good one. And I need to go back to hidden treasures sometime soon! I think I've been there once or twice since this video, I can't remember. But anyways, yay a Northern Michigan friend!!
LOVE THAT BOOK, omg omg! Even with the broken binding... it's stunning 😍 You found some awesome little bottles!!! They are on my list of things to collect throughout the year for next year's Halloween decor! Girl, brass candlesticks are getting so expensive 😥 and much much harder to find!!!
That book is seriously my favorite find ever!!! I never thought about purchasing vintage books before I started watching your channel The bottles have become a slight obsession for me 🤣 And the brass candlesticks are very hard to find! I did however find another handheld one with a glass bulb around it.. kind of like an oil lamp and it's seriously my favorite candlestick holder now!
My son was saying some scrap traders have collected brass things for money... scrap... sad. Little figures and candle holders. Don't know if it's true. P. S. Slime green ... is fabulous in potion bottles.

I'm an all year witch theme type of fella! I just went out and got some wild grape vines to make a pentagram wreath with the other day for our front door. What few neighbors I have probably think I'm crazy lol
If the couple whose flowers those were celebrated 50 years in 2002... it's been 20 years since then, almost 21... whether or not they're still together might be the wrong question. They may or may not even still be alive at this point in time.

They were a gift from someone so maybe they had a falling out with that person 🤷♀️ I've accidentally donated things that weren't meant to be.
