Only suggest I have is make sure you aren't putting the booster boxes on the metal grating shelves that you find in some closets. They can leave imprints on the box/wrapping if left for long periods of time.
I also suggest buying only the 24" deep shelves I have found that the 18" deep shelve isn't deep enough and you have to hang the BB case over the end of the rack which isn't good for the case. It also doesn't look very good. Pay the extra and get the bigger 24" Rack.
I'd still get a case for those older booster boxes nowadays, just "upgraded" storage conditions for my fusion strike booster boxes lying around, would do the same for most other SWSH sets startin to age in value like Chilling reign and lost origins if I had em.
I could definitely do with some cases for loose boxes. Never seem to have enough. Thankfully I live in Britain where we don't have many climate problems unless you live in a flood risk area. Thankfully the flood defences where I live are top tier so I've never had a problem.
The Container Store. If they are not in your region, there are also Sterilite flip top containers that are similar. Nobody seems to like these containers though so surprised you asked 😭

It’s pricey, but I purchase the 5-pack plastic cases for about $20 on amazon. Great for storing long term and helpful when shipping
