3.15 and 3.16 Bhagavatam and Energy Principles to explain the Benevolence of Sri Krsna - 1.Sept.2024

We go deep into the Benevolence of Sri Krsna (using the Energy Principles to explain this). We then move on to Chapter 16, which focuses on the aftermath of the curse placed on Jaya and Vijaya by the four Kumaras. After being cursed to be born as demons in the material world, Jaya and Vijaya are deeply distressed. Lord Vishnu appears before the Kumaras and the gatekeepers, accepting responsibility for the actions of Jaya and Vijaya. Out of His compassion, the Lord assures Jaya and Vijaya that although they will live as demons for three lifetimes, they will be killed by Him in each incarnation, and after their cursed lifetimes, they will return to Vaikuntha.
Lord Vishnu's intervention in this situation highlights the deep connection between the Lord and His devotees, illustrating how even when they appear to falter, He remains committed to their ultimate liberation. The Lord’s words pacify the Kumaras, who realize that everything is under His divine plan. The curse of Jaya and Vijaya leads to their incarnations as powerful enemies of the Lord, beginning with Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu, who later play significant roles in the cosmic order.
