Man, those wheels really suit the Thunder Bull! I may have to buy one and a set of the Lunchbox wheels. I love the Thunder Dragon body but the wheels seemed out of proportion. I never thought about mounting some monster tires on it!
I agree ive always loved the look of this, my title was because a lot of people find it ugly, thats ok, more thunder dragons for you and I my friend! I used the standard 15T pinion that the kit called for, I dont want to over power it because the central driveshaft os so skinny. I will make a video of unedited running soon, I am SO IMPRESSED by the handling on this 1980’s buggy! Wow!
Ok, that Thunder Bull is one of the greatest mashups I've ever seen!!!
Soo ugly it turnes into a cool thing, love it.
The tamiya rc's of the time were Japanese anime inspired, and they all looked amazing, imho lol. Nice video man. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧
Tha k you for the encouragement! I should look for the anime!

it really is cooler looking, but steering is very wide with these wheels, I feel like the radius increased by almost a foot
I like both buggies that mono shock on the front of the thunder dragon is cool 😎
It was my first pick of all the shots for sure
I don't think its ugly, I think it's COOL!! I love the lunchbox tire conversion. What size pinion do you use?
