I was amazed when I saw how far inland tarpon can be found. If you look at the C-14 canal on a map (Broward County, FL) just west of the Sawgrass Expressway, there's smallish (@36") tarpon there around that spillway.
just got back from vacation in fort lauderdale. the GF and i ended up at everglades holiday park and saw 3 huge tarpon roll on the surface. Didn't think the larger ones came in that far. Also found a tiny freshwater pond next to a diner that was loaded with them!
I'll be there in late October 2022. Pretty sure I know where you're fishing. Been there but never thought there would be "baby's" there. Your secret is safe. Thanx for the video.
Multiple flies, two rods and some tieable bite wire would have made this morning a lot better for you. Sorry about the rod. It happens. Hopefully, the warranty is still good.

Stop doing the loop to loop. Tie in a chunk of butt section and then tie leaders to that.
